Default Not all reputation is created equal.

Is it me or is there a general lack of reputation points for doing quests in GWEN. Aside from clearing areas of monsters I can't seem to find any repeatable or non repeatable quests that grant a significant amount of reputation. I mean seriously how does ANET expect us to increase titles for Ebon, Norn and Asura with only a few areas to clear. At least the Dwarf reputation points are geared with Dungeons, thats 18 multilevel dungeons for Dwarf Reputation points and 3 single explorable areas for Ebon Vanguard ...

Whats up with this? Ebon faction comes from only 3 explorable areas? Can I get a comment from ANet what was your reasoning behind this? You should at least grant both Dwarf and Ebon from dungeons in Ebon related lands.

If I remember correctly during the preview we had the ability to earn reputation from repeating quests, why the change? Why should you care how we grind, you created grind let us grind for it in a way that makes some form of sense.

I found that a little odd myself, after clearing all of the dungeons and completing almost all of the quests my Ebon track was merely halfway to the 4th rank. Personally I would prefer if you didn't get those dwarf points in every single dungeon when the snowman level exists. That or the same number of rep points for repeating a dungeon.

Not only that but Scantoth valley has no outpost making getting there to farm longer then just popping into some dungeons or outside olfstaed for points.

I don't mind the trek to the valley, its easy to do, but like Racthoh I have also cleared every single dungeon by now (except-the snowman one) with my Paragon. However I'm also half-way to rank 4 for Ebon. Then it totally hit me.

MY GOSH HOW MANY TIMES MUST I KILL THE SAME CHARR IN SAME THREE AREAS JUST TO SEE SOME FRIGGEN ARMOR?

Glory Fox i have to agree with u on this, imo, easiest point is dwarven, then norn and asura, hardest is Ebon vanguard, it is kinda inbalanced-_-

Worst part is: Dwarven armour isn't even a set, but it's easiest to get.

The ebon vanguard does have repeatable quests, one that comes to mind at the moment is the one where you find all the dead bodies of the missing vanguard. go touch the helmet and you get the quest and the cut scene.

Experience is so much more important than reputation, which is why we have XX,000 experience and X00 reputation point quest rewards, right?

Speaking of dungeons, they should either make the dwarf reputation bonus better, or make the reputation based on the dungeon. Why the heck do you get dwarf bonus in every dungeon if it's only useful in like 1 or 2? *by that I mean the bonus of X health every time you hit a destroyer* If I'm in Asura lands I should GET asura reputation along with Dwarf and be able to use Asura or dwarf reputation bonus.

One reason why dungeons give only dwarven reputation points only is probably because of lore.

Although I earned in excess of 10k norn rep points for clearing Varajar Fells 1.75 times (gave the undead circle a miss once), each run took about 50 minutes. Maybe clearing the ebon vanguard areas are faster because of the siege devourers? Go with a few humans and get everyone into a devourer and hunt everything into extinction.

maybe we'll get a quadruple bounty weekend. heh.

Dwarven reputation is given for dungeons because there is no above-ground Dwarven territory I guess.

I have to agree that some Rep areas seem to have preference.

Really, every race/rep should have a repeatable mission/challenge that doesnt cost gold and earns rep.

As for the Siege Devourer, i hated it the time i got one...i prefer my ranger skills.

I was about to suggest a system where we could trade Skill Points for Reputation... But I decided that was lame compared to just asking for quests to give us more Rep. Either that or dungeons gives us the same Rep Points in the other Rep titles... Maybe? I have no clue.

hmmm, first of all you get reputation from mini games such as Norn Tournament and Polymock, but i do see the problem with the ebon.

Decided to get the Ebon armor for my Rit, after finding out the Dwarf armor is not counted as a 'set' in the HoM. I'm having the same frustration as many in that getting Ebon rep points seems like it's going to take forever clearing the same three areas over and over. *sigh*
