What about those of us that liked both?

So you dont own the game at all yet? In that case dont buy GWEN yet and play through either prophercies, factions or nightfal first!

If you dont like titles, then stay clear of NF as you need to get certain ranks in titles to continue.

Then if you like what you have played you can continue to play onto into GWEN!

If you do how have one of the campaigns, the its basically your choice. Do you want an entire expansion with a tiny bit more area to explore, a handfull of quests and repeatable dungeons?

You get new armor (which isnt all that nice), some nice new weapons and some new pve only skills. Thats all really! GWEN is alot more focused at fan-boys IMO!

I would buy another campaign if you want alot more content!

GWEN really is just to give people somet to do until GW2 and not for casual players IMO. Although it can be enjoyed by casual players too!

You can quite frequently find factions on sale for less than a tenner. (at least here in the UK, ok)

Factions is a campaign, not an expansion and have lots more content, even if you have to slog through that ugly as sin city part, ritualist and assassin as new professions, lots more skills - some really, really useful ones too. If you are at all interested in PvP, it kind of is a must. Some new, not just reskinned armours that actually are pretty nice, etc. etc.

GWEN is still new on the shelves and if you find a cheap copy of it it's still about twice the price of a cheap copy of Factions.

If you don't already have it get Factions over GWEN. That's all. By the time GWEN is marked down to what Factions goes for today, it is worth it. At full price, if you don't already have all three campaigns and want a... you know expansion... mhe! wouldn't bother.

Get two cheap copies of Factions instead, give one to a mate that don't play GW and have a blast playing through Factions with some person you actually like instead. (Plus earn brownie points for giving someone a gift when it's not even their birthday.)
