Yeah, but who thinks to take shutdown in PvE? That requires thought.

I honestly believe a lot of people need to learn how 2play first.
Secondly you need to learn how 2play together as a team.

Having that said just run a team build that you like adding a few counter skills needed depending on mobs in the area and for gods sake try to observe how the ai reacts with the skills given to them.

Know what your fighting and force a certain aggro and try to keep it that way till you can take the important foes in a team down.
In your case i dont understand what the problem is, in gw/en easy mode these foes really arent a challenge.

Sorry if i come over a bit rude towards you but seeing all these posts about this and this and oh yeah that is just too hard is getting really old.

TEAM BUILD FOR ASURA TERRITORY - GUARANTEED WIN:

YOU
1. Mhenlo
2. Lina
3. Herta
4. Cynn
5. Aidan
6. Zho
(7. Talon Silverwing)
optional replacements: Devona OR Lo Sha OR Eve

Additional notes:
* Do not use your own Heroes, you might mess up yourself!
* C-space till you find something that could be a monk, then start attacking the suspicious mob!

OK, more serious: Taking the GWEN Henchmen or reading up their skills on the Wiki is not a bad idea, as they were given very powerful skills that allow you to deal with every situation. You can adjust your own heroes accordingly.

The secret is a MM hero. It's excellent for vanquishing those areas too.

the only thing I see as difficult are those damm T-Rex's, the monsters skill does +300 damage to all party members in range, and those dam rapters with cridical diffence maxed and always get critical hits.

I still have managed to survive, but it has taken a good deal of rethinking builds and hero combos, besides the T-Rex boss is nearly impossible to kill without racking up atleast 30+% of DP.

I've had no problems with anything in the game. My earth build shuts them down entirely while Zho shuts down casters with Broadhead Arrow.

Agreed.

Those dinosaurs are rediculous. However, if you have some blind stuff, they are ez to take.

Another unrealistic monster in Asura land would be those drakes that use stoneflesh aura, silver armor and shock wave.

Sorry to strongly disagree with the complaints about twisting fangs but, dinosaur lands should be feared by many. Ever see Jurassic Park? When you see a group of 8 or 12 Raptors running a pattern you should have a sense of dread, even when facing Ferothrax or Tyrannus. Just remember you have unique monster skills too called PvE skills, use them.

If you are using an Elementalist in Asura lands you need to use Earth Magic. Churning Earth + Eruption + Unsteady Ground or Sandstorm are fantastic vs. large groups of Raptor's. Also Ritualist Spirits go a long ways to kill these monsters and provide alternative targets.

So far I've only had one bad run in with Twisting Jaws and I've cleared Riven Earth & Sparkfly Swamp many times. Unlike most player strategies if you just use wards and defensive skill sets such as Gladiators defense or Ebon Flag PvE skills and not kite all over the place you can wage a good defensive war vs. the dino's. These area's are actually not that hard you just can't run around thinking your leet shit (unless you are then you should not complain about Twisting Jaws), some of these area's you need to walk and take your time. Draw one group at a time and have a good defensive warded positions set up and hit these monsters with overwhelming force as they enter.

Remember when you are HERO / henching, good AI control can make a difference between life and party wipe.

Good Luck...

Sorry my HERO's never suck, perhaps you should change your HERO's builds to something that uses good synergy. For example .... using the two Paragon HERO"s or using the two Ritualist HERO's with defensive spirits set up. Even using two Ele hero's with one as Water with Wards and one with Earth Wards. I'm sure you get the idea.

I do, with my Mesmer with Gwen and Norgu running domination, Olias as a N/Mes for MM. Lina, Mhenlo, Zho and Lo Sha. It's amazing how fast you can kill a group then move on to the next group. Interrupts for the win in almost all cases. Enemies can't fight worth crap if they can't activate skills.

Heh anyone else find the triceratops nasty? I'e only fought them a few times, and generally avoid them, but they are just nasty.

High AC, so slow to kill, seem to have high resistane to fire or just magick, or maybe just a ton of HP, run into close range to attack, with silver armour, so it takes forever to kill them and since they go into close range it's hard to avoid the silver armour.

I can pwn anything that walks in the vacinity of Rata Sum...

Except for Ceratadons for some reason... They pwn my ass everytime.

Everything else dies in about 1 minute of agro. Ceratadons make me fight for a good while until whiping me out. :/

I just avoid them nowadays.

The Raptors are fun to pick on, though.

Lol didn't see that. :P

Yeah. Just avoid them. They travel in groups of three, so it's pretty easy. They've got a smashing build. ANet did a good job with them.
