Default FTLOG why dont Allies res at the shrine with everyone else?

I would love to know whos bright idea it was at Anet to make allies in your team NOT res at shrines? What possible reason is there to not!

Im so sick of having to clear an area of creatures and get close enough, before they re-join the team!

If you stuck in an area filled with huge mobs, and you need those allies to help, and they are lying there dead, what use are they?

It just adds to frustration!

Have the allies res along with the rest of the team at shrines!!! There is no logical reason why they shouldnt and why they should only come back to life when the area is clear.

This is especially bad in 'Frostmaws Burrows' at the end if they die near a worm that doesnt go underground. It means you have 3-4 allies that are potentially rendered useless!

Why add them if they dont behave like everyone else when they die? does Anet just like making NPCs really frustrating! I appreciate the fact that NPCs can now actually ress, but why make it so complicated?

It's better at burrows, since wurms disapear under the ground, your allies res, the wurm popup again, they fight it, die, wurm disapears...
I went AFK and they killed 2/3 siege wurms. Me want more things like that.

Honestly, If you're relying on the allies to clear the area that needs to be cleared, you're not very good especially if you have 8 members on a team, and relying on 4 to clear the area... It's not that hard to have them res after your team slays everything in sight. Hell, why is your team dying to begin with? Maybe it's time to rethink your builds?

Fish stop the complaining, atleast they do come back unlike the old allies in quests where if they died you gotta start all over again. allies being resed ftw.

I have noticed very confusing behavior. If you die and rez at a shrine sometimes they rez and run back towards. Other times they wait till you get close. Other times you need to kill something for them to come back. It is weird.

P.S. I think they increase the agro range on the worms before I could always pick off one of the Siege worms before attacking the green worms and kinslayer. Last time I was Bamboozled By 2 green worms the kinslayer and the siege worm. (1st time I ever had an issue)

Leave Freek alone. He's only 140 new topics away from "Godly Thread Maker", and that's the max title.

Seriously, he makes some of the best topics IMHO.

So all the grind in GWEN is ok, but this little inconvienence is a problem?

Please remember...

I must not GRIND. GRIND is the mind-killer. GRIND is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my GRIND... I will permit it to pass over me and through me.

Lord grow up!

Ive said my position on grind and if you seriously cant accept my view and my opinion and need to drag it into a thread that has nothing to do with it, you are very very sad!

I replied to your over attempt at boycotting the other thread and im not doing it here!

Im not argueing about grind in a thread concerning the ressing of allies!

Allies have never ressed at res shrines, why should they? Bring better builds and you won't even notice the allies are there.

Ok was there any need for that?

Lets concider who looks more moronic; the person who made a post after being a tiny bit annoyed at the game but hasnt bad mouthed anyone or the person who just felt the need to me speak like that?

You dont have to read every post I might make!

As for the job, I had one for a year but im going back to Uni next week and I have to concentrate on my final year, so forgive me if I dont want to work during that.

And for the record, as ive said many times, I love GWEN! But im allowed to pick at things that I find frustrating.

Fine, buy you don't have to make a post for EVERY SINGLE issue you have, most of which are so trivial as to make me wonder how you get any enjoyment at all out of playing. As to this particular case, in my experience, in no instance in GWEN has allies not rezzing at a shrine contributed to the difficulty of the mission, quest, whatever. Your team should be able to deal with whatever comes at you, relying on extra allies = fail.
