Imo destroyer gloves look good only when the character's armor is naturally short-sleeved. I.e. if the armor set's gloves connect to the chest-piece at the elbow then it will look odd to me when the destroyer gloves fail to connect. Same applies for all other common armor gloves. That said some combos are only slightly odd (e.g. 15k gladiators) while others look very odd (e.g. warrior FoW).

This doesn't apply to mesmers because, unlike all other classes, their gloves generally don't extend above the wrists.

The OP mentioned ele armors... female ele's have many good options, but male ele's are mostly screwed (what else is new?).

Personally after seeing these in game more over the last few days I really think they are too themed for certain characters.

To me they would really only suit an ele for obvious reasons I mean....what other char would really have fiery hands in such a game world?I just don't think they suit the "theme" of a Warrior, Sin, etc and they really seem to more often than not stick out as really not matching the character at all hence why I've decided against getting them.

In saying it's all a matter of personal taste and whatever makes the individual players happy and thanks to those that have shared pics.

It's just my personal taste and reasoning man.

I don't expect people to agree and hope they would buy whatever they think looks good for them.I have yet to see a good combo with these gloves that I think actually looks right and suits the profession other than ele.

As said...thats just me.

Dont like dest gaunts at all, but Chaos gloves look good on spellcasters, specially monks.

I think it would look fantastic on my dervish, but i have no means on getting the gloves without spending lots o cash (only have 2 dest cores) and possibly on some sin armors like Luxon.
