Default Heart of the Shiverpeaks Run: How?

I heard they nerfed it, and I was one of the unfortunate individuals that never got to try it.

How was it done pre nerf?

Did you use the primary quest, or just run the regular dungeon?

How was it "ran"?

I have been experimenting with ways to do this, and I would really like to know how it was done pre nerf. I heard that it could be done in 10-15 mins, so I tried it out post nerf, and did it in 30 because of constant deaths from Magmus, and actually trying to run it.

It can be done in less than 10 minutes pre-nerf.

They run the regular dungeon without the quest. People just bring some running skills and run through the first 3 levels of the dungeons until the end boss Magmus. Then they kill Magmus and the ooze mob by using the power kegs from Budger Blackpowder.

Ah, so it is MUCH slower with HH.

I just did another run real quick, and it took me around 25 mins, killing Magmus is the longest part of the whole dungeon.

Hmm I've killed 3-4 times Cyndr and she was a wimp. Just spamdrop the kegs on her would take her down in 20 seconds. I dont understand why ppl rather have it with Magmus? The run with Magmus really was a lot slower then that. Besides, one person decided to go leeching, so we didnt get ressed because we all died and he didnt. :S

And btw, I got a Magmus staff in those runs, so it doesnt matter for that part.

One last thing.

Which gives 1,500 Asura Points? And can you get that many points each time?

Thanks for the replies.

You get 1500 Asura Points when you do the dungeon for the first time. All future runs will only give 200 Asura points.

People run the dungeon with Magmus due to the issue of Budger Blackpowder not following when some people in the group don't have the quest. Before the nerf there is little diff between the two, now i will say Cyndr is much easier.
