So I got my Rit to the Hall of Monuments and started playing around, displaying my PvE titles. And, what's this? "Display Eternal Conqueror of Sorrow's Furnace".

I thought this was very odd...as I'd gone through with my Ele before and had no option to display such a title. I logged back in on my Ele and...no Sorrow's Furnace title. Hmm, odd.

The only characters of mine who have completed Sorrow's Furnace are my Rit and Ele. My Rit completed SF after EotN went live, as I got myself a mini moa. My Ele had completed SF a long time ago.

So has anyone else noticed this? Do we think it's a bug, or does "making a moa" count as conquering it? I don't see why it would...

I never did SF in Hard Mode. I just gained it when I completed The Final Assault.

Eternal Conqueror of Sorrow's Furnace: Obtained by completing the To Sorrow's Furnace quest line. The trophy is a bronze statue of the Iron Forgeman.

What about the OP's question? If both his chars completed the quest line, but only one has the title?

Also, anyone know if there's a titan title as well?

Thank you, I mean, it's kinda obvious that completing something in SF has something to do with obtaining it...but my Ele has done the SF quests before Eye of the North and cannot display the title.

I'm heiring more on the side of "bug".

Seems you need to complete the quest line AFTER the update. Which I guessing means completing Final Assault again. So some people say.

Are you sure you finished all the quests, and returned to get your rewards? I managed to get it to display fine, and if it works with one of your other characters too, I can only assume that maybe you missed one of the quests with them. Perhaps you have to complete all of those little quest Flamewhip gives you as well?

My Rit never did any of Flamewhip's. Maybe I should just tag along with someone who has the quest for The Final Assault with my ele...might give the game a kick and make it realise I have actually completed it.

Someone else has shown on another forum their title for FoW. I would guess that means there is one for UW as well.

Well, whatever you do, WATCH Kilroy like a hawk. I remember of course he ran off like a madman, but now he will literally stop attacking the one group he wanted to go to another completely different mob. If you don't watch him, he dies and quest is over.

Since ANET says nothing about keeping him alive (as they always have in other quests where you must keep someone alive) I personally think ANET needs to have it recoded; recode it so if he dies, you just keep killing the beasties and he will then rez. This is how things are in GWEN.

Its time Kilroy got a bit of an upgrade. Dirtbag. This would make the 3rd time trying to keep his dumb arse alive. He just shifts and runs off even as you've started on another mob.

You have to do it again after the update ( which i hate), and it is all the same for UW, FoW, Deep, Urgoz and DOA.

They really need to do that with all quest NPCs in Sorrow's Furnace...

there is no statue for completing the titan quests. yet.
to get the sorrow's furnace statue, you just have to do final assault, mode doesn't matter. i did it in normal mode. you have to have done it after the release of eotn. same with all the other conqueror statues.

eta: this includes doing the 4 sub-quests (kilroy/alkar/orozar/galen) if you haven't done them already i believe.
