Have heard many rumors and just about everyone and their uncle are trying to dump their Runic Blades today. Can this be verified?

Edit: Just talked to a guy ig selling a req 10 for 100k, it dropped in GWEN. Runic Blades gg

With Anet if its expensive chances are sooner or later they will do something to completely devalue it.

I would not be suprised if there was inscribable Crystalline drops...

Instead of adding existing weapons thus causing them to devalue drastically they should just make new skins.

But, judging from Anet's efforts in GWEN they must have ran out of ideas for skins and just decided to add HoH drops there instead...

Ive gave up caring now, quiting GW to take up options trading instead.

Platinum drops are common now as well. My time in Ventari's will be busy when EoTN goes live. Dwarvern axes are popping up a lot as well...

Tribal Axes and sickles definitely drop as purples/rares in GW:EN but I'm unsure of their rarity.

I've also seen a green with the Stygian Reaver skin but not an actual Stygian Reaver.

That's as much input as I can give.

Man that's sweet, Runics are by far the best "Rare" sword skin in the game, I only hope that they stay kinda rare.

Yea, id sell my runics if i owned any :P. Not many rare skins left. Wonder if this means that Stygain reavers drop there too.

@ Shuuda: Nothing effects me really. Inscribable items disgust me so I never owned one. Sucks to all the people who spent hundreds of ecto on a HoH drop only for it to become a common drop. Anet knew full well what the result of making them drop in GWEN. Non inscribable undroppable items = ftw in terms of investment.

Anet should just have designed new skins instead of jacking skins especially rare skins and making them alot less rarer.

I really do not know what Anet's fixation is with screwing people over knowing that they will be.

Adding Runic Blades as a HoH drop obviously will lead to high prices. That was 100% foreseeable.

Then making them a drop in GWEN. That is 100% forseeable that it will cause their price to drop.

Kinda bizarre why they feel the need to do that :S

It wasnt a needed change.

People worked hard for those hundreds of ecto needed to buy one and they knew they will fall drastically in price due to making them droppable. Just look at what happened to Serpent Axes and the Canthan version wasnt even the same appearance as inscribable HoH only version.

@Makosi: Yeah I would bet they are or will be. What with them being a 400e weapon in R9. We really cant be having that now in Guild Wars!!! Expensive weapons in GW O__o Dwarven Axes are dropping inscribable too from what I have gathered. Maybe Crystalline are going to drop common too.

I slightly agree with that, making a sword like the Runic a common drop would take out the greatness of it. And the Runic sword IMO is the only good looking rare sword in the game (Elemental and Crystalline just don't compare.)
Adding the Runic to PvE is a nice thing for most people, but making it common is going a bit far.

lol a naff green thats another way to kill its price. I agree with what herb said though. Suddenly making these high end items much more common is very unfair on those who worked hard for them before and no herb we can all afford unconditionals

You could sell it for 100K+70 now and buy another for 50K later =D

i dont see what the big deal is. making pvp only drops available to pve players seems like a good thing to me.

and for all the multi billionaries that want "rare" items, anet created a "rare" minipet market just to accomodate you guys.

26 mini kanaxais in the whole entire world. if thats not rarity, i dont know what is

ps. i bought a colossal for 100k+100+ ectos when they were considered rare, now theyre worth 100k tops. just cause its worth less doesnt mean i like it less.
