Default Most efficient reputation point farming

With the weekend event only 13 hours away, I got to thinking; what is the most efficient way to farm for points? Use only 1 resurrection shrine to get the blessing, then save them all for last to get the higher reward? Or would it be better to use them as soon as you see them, so you have a better chance on getting Rank 2-4 of the blessing? I know which areas I plan on clearing, but what would be the best way of going about activating shrines?

its really not best to save the shrines until the map is cleared, it has been noted that to get rank 2 hunter (or w.e it may be called) you talk to another shrines person after 50 kills for rank 3 no sooner than 75 kills and rank 4 no sooner than 100 kills
basically talk to every shrine after 50 kills but if you get rank 2 on the first go wait to talk to the next one after 75 and the same for rank 3-4 100 kill (kinda hard to comprehend i know but its kind of hard to explain)

So its guaranteed that you will get a Rank up at a certain number of kills? If so that would make it ideal to talk to the Shrines when you know you will be getting a rank up, then saving them all for last. I think I'm going to wiki this.

There is not a time when a rank up is garunteed, it is random, but overall with the double points it would be better to go for the rank ups instead of 200 points
because if i am not mistaken after killing 200 or so things and you kill a boss with r 4 hunting you get at least 250 points, with double weekend that means 500 and with a hunt rampage if you gget one, its 1k points from a single boss
P.S. I do not know if the shrine bonus points would be doubled or not.

So far any points earned no matter how obtained (shrine, random, boss, etc) all double. Norn is mighty easy in the Lake area since there are at least 375 monsters there. If at 50 you don't see the 2nd rank, go to a shriner.

The one thing I would like ANet to note: the ridiculous drop rate is now worse than ever. Please ANet, doubling the points doesn't call for reducing the loot to compensate! lol

In a run through the Lake and killing everything, I got maybe 300 gold (which was then shared of course) and a few white drops. After 375 monsters? That bloody sucks!

A fast run is in Drakkar Lake. Start in Sifhalla, and collect rewards and Vanquish the area.
Use 3 monks, and 5 Barrage Splinter Weapon rangers or AoE ele's.

Looks like ANet solved this problem.

Yeah with the hero's handbook, you can go through the entire storyline quests which there are 16 main chains to do. When you turn it in with the norn you get over 20k rep with the norn (thats if you complete the entire normal book, but if you complete the hard mode version you get much higher rep)

Until you get 80k points, when the reputation factions points are 80, you can't give the normal book to that faction, they MUST be HM.

And you can't sell them (It'd be a GREEEEAT business)
