I don't know what's up with you guys, but I get Chalices all the time when I run Cathedral of Flames. Have yet to see a single Golden Rin Relic though.

Ok, so i just bought one...to convince myself they are real lol, and the guy said he just got it as a drop from the mobs there.

Lol. your screenshot is so big, I only saw the top part of your inventory. For a second there I thought you salvaged your chalice/relic and got dust, just to see what the response in this thread would be

My first run through cathedral, the 2nd mob dropped a chalice for me. Haven't gotten another one since

Yeah before I saw that screen, I hadn't seen a Golden Relic ouside of the collector either. I've done it many times also, and have one chalice to show for it.

I done temple about 5 times total (4 with H/H and 1 human team). I've got four chalices to show for it. The last two dropped on the last run with the human team.

Standing in Doomlore it's easy to see that the chalices are pretty rare. Prices bump between 2-5k depending on the day of the week and time.

It's just like everything else in this game. :V Doing it 20 times for 4 chalices just means you aren't doing it enough. With a drop rate of 1 every 5 missions, you will have to do that dungeon 250 times. This should keep you busy until GW2.

Or, as the lich would say, "Perhaps this will slow you down long enough to let me finish my work."

Dingdingding! We have a winner. I believe they've made these drop rates obscene to keep us playing. This isn't a bug. They eased up a little bit with the Destroyer Cores, but I get the feeling Chalice and Relic drop rates are gonna stay crappy.

Nope. I've yet to do the Veiled Threat quest.

In fact I did the Temple quest when it was bugged and still have an Exquisite Surmia Carving in my inventory.

Ok, now I must say mine:

5 runs, always 2 man+6 heroes. What did I drop? 2 diessa chalices, 1 golden relic. It's all I have to say. Are you all guys acting like the ones that cryes about the glacial stones drop rate in the "100 glacial stones needed for gauntlets" thread? Everybody, just stop crying for everithing. Now, because there was 1 bug in the drop rate of 1 collector item, you immediately think about bugs here and there. Just play and you will get them. Nobody died for not getting a blindfold into 3 days ;D

And nobody wants to take 2 years to get a dang blindfold either. I can only hope that they drop elsewhere at a better rate then the Cathedral.

I did three runs in a row the other day. The first two times I got none and on the last run I got three chalices. I did see them dropping for other group members on my first two runs though - the drop rate for chalices seems normal to me. I never did see any of those golden rin relics though.

All that proves is that you're a luckbox who can't possibly fathom that everyone else aren't equally fortunate.

I'll repeat - I have done 17 runs now. Never a relic. Nobody else in my guild, and we do that dungeon quite often, has ever seen one drop.

Did cathredal of flames 11 times with hero/hench today. Not one challice or relic. The drop rate has to be insanley low.

When I do glints challenge with h/h I average 4-5 destoyer cores each time.

I did cathedral one time and got 1 chalice... i'll probably sell it, i don't want a stupid blindfold.

I'll sell it tomorrow.. but with my luck the drops will be fixed when i get on in the morning. =p suddenly my 2k item is 200g.. bleh

I'm not beating the dungeon 2000 times to get my item(s). The drop rate needs to be fixed! :/
