Arrow ANET: Does GW:EN include mixing pot system for character creation?

Does GW:EN include a mixing pot system for character creation [face, color, hair, skin]? That is, instead of restricting character creation features to per chapter, it would allow all character creation features to be intermixed from available chapters for more combination possiblities?

BTW: Factions character creation features is still very lacking compared to other chapters and should benefit with at least a slight addition of variety. Some of the Factions hairstyles don't even have black hair color.

Well seeing as how you dont create characters for GW:EN, it's for existing characters.. I highly doubt it.

You cant create charecters for GW:EN, so probably not. I would like to see some existing charecter customization.

"Re-Customize Charecter" option perhaps - where you can change your charecter's name and style? Anet is talking about the name thing, but I would like to change my warrior to Female, and I honestly cant afford the surgery.

New characters do not start in GW:EN. You'll create a character the exact same way as always (in one of the campaigns) and work your way to GW:EN.

You would just have the option between all faces hairs etc.

If any place in GW:EN is going to do it HoM will be the place.

/Signed, great idea.

I'd like to see an overhaul of the character creation system. The easiest thing I believe they could do would be to allow "foreign" characters to be created in each campaign. i.e. when creating a character for Factions there could be a drop down menu that lets you select "Ascalonian Born" or "Elonian Born" rather than "Canthan Born" and use the faces/hair from another campaign. Obviously, it would be even nicer if they could merge all the options, but that might not be possible, unless all the models parts were designed to the fit from the start.

Specifically for GW:EN a PvP style character creator, that lets you make a level 20 for PvE, with a range of unlocked skills would be cool, but I'd anticipate some resistance to that idea.

/signed. I hope we see it. I still want to create new characters, even if GWEN uses only characters that are already lvl 20, and it would be a great addition to be able to pool the faces and hairstyles and create a character that is more truly original.

/signed for an option to have faces, hairstyles & colours and skin tones for all chapters to be created. Have some skins I really like but I have to use them in that campaign (typically NF, which getting a little boring atm)

For those who purchase GW:EN...character creation should be merged into one process for all campaigns. Instead of picking your campaign first...then creating your character...you create your character first using a combined palette from all the campaigns you own....then decide which campaign to start in (obviously you couldn't start in GW:EN since there are no starter areas). We'd never see a "GW:EN" character though starting at level 20 in whatever big town is in the beginning of GW:EN...why even create any low level characters ever then? (level 20 "GW:EN" character creation /notsigned)

It would provide a fresh infusion of faces to older campaigns. Simply allowing foreign characters to be created in other campaigns would be pointless except for Pre-Searing characters...that's why we need to be able to combine the foreign features with native features....providing combinations we haven't seen in game before.

I would love to see this. Essentially GW:EN would merge the campaigns for those who own it...giving them more options than the people who don't purchase it.

It would be a bit of work for the art team to pull off though as they'd have to apply the new hair colors to the new hair types...and new skin colors to new skins. That in itself might shoot this one in the foot to begin with.

Don't see this happening since most of the team is working on GW2 now, but it's nice to hope.

/Signed. I doubt it'll ever happen, but allowing people to choose/mix hair and faces from all of the campaigns they own would be awesome.

Edit: I just realized that only the core professions would get the maximum benefit from this, since you can only create rits in factions, paragons in nightfall, and so on. So I guess they would have to add new ones for them. Anyway, still signed.

/signed, it's a nice idea. Mainly as NF is getting annoying to get all the SS points etc, but it would be nice to make someone with that appearance in another campaign
