Ah, nevermind, I just hadn't found Bison standing in Gunnar's Hold as well. -.-

This is the kind of thing that needs a smart ass comment.

Hold ALT and look for Bison.

As a Necro:
16 Curse,
13 Soul Reaping
Blood and Death are unimportant here.
Note: This is a high energy cost build, you need at least 50 energy to start, higher is better.

Price of Failure
Enfeebling Touch
Spiteful Spirit
Insidious Parasite
Atrophy
Hexor's Vigor
Necrosis
Signet of Lost Souls

Cast the first four hex's. Those four should be all you need, though I added Atrophy/Hexor's Vigor just because I wanted to try them out.

No wonder Mhenlo died so easily...rofl...burning arrow > Mhenlo. Alesia on the other hand makes a pretty formidable whammo O.o.

Still can't beat Bison, I almost got him with Grenth's Balance on my R/N once but I lagged and died. >.<

Ditto, I got the dastardly lag spike on my W/N and croaked. Worst part is you gotta beat him for skills...

Yeah, had to lower myself to my Earth ele build which i sometimes use for fun in hm in this case i just used a double attunement with stoneflesh and armour of earth, mystic regen, stone daggers and obsidian flame, ward of stability. Not very original or honerable but hey it gets the job done.

I beat him as a R/Rt using a variation of the Oath Spirit Spam build.

Oath Shot, Whirling Defense, Pain, Bloodsong, Shadowsong Dissonance, Nightmare Weapon, Throw Dirt. Expertise 10+1+3, Communing 12, Channeling 8.

Leave the gate, put down the spirits, hit nightmare weapon, Oath Shot, fire a few shots to give an extra health drain spike, and relay the spirits down when needed.

Currently working on my crown. Need a suitable replacement for my jesters cap.

And what about purge signet?

Yeah just tried this 3 times, it gets me to Bison great, but it won't kill him. There are mana problems and purge signet really ruins the whole build, nice try though

I'm going nuts trying to beat him too.

Getting to him is just a big a pain, why? You get placed randomly against anti-melee characters.

Gwen - Signet of Midnight and other stuff. No Condition removal? gg
Norgu - Empathy + Visions of Regret
Eve - If you PvP you'll know what's coming

At least take away the 100g entry fee ._.

with this sin build, you can kill all the heroes and bison

critical agility (sunspear)
critical defense
way of perfection
beguiling haze (e)
golden fox strike
wild strike
critical stike
impale

stats are something like 12 daggers, 13 critical, 9 shadow and 3 deadly
(sure you can have better ones, didn't want to buy new runes)

very easy to use

/Rt, spam spirits, aggro, GeeGee.

Or just like, take any condition/hex build you can come up with and throw in Ignorance at a reasonable Domination level (or you know, like, Leech Signet or something. Just deal with Purge Signet however the hell you want).

It's probably easiest to do the whole thing as a Mesmer. You can get the Ritualist Spirits at 10 or 12 spec and still have plenty of room for Ignorance and another random skill of your choosing (Leech Signet is a personal favorite).

I like the tournament. A lot, actually. It's sort of the Pre-Nerf THK of the Sneak Peek, iffinunowutimeenz. I wish it was mandatory though.
