i went out and mapped the first three things you said and it pulled me up .2% but for the last one, ive known it wasnt mapped for quite some time and im just not quite sure on how to map it. for the area over ice caves, i dont know how to get there. i tried hugging the walls in the mission itself, ive tried hugging the wall in the explorable area next to it, and it just doesnt unfuzz. so if you could fill me in id really appreciate it.

also, what did you mean by the top part of riverside province mission? i mapped the start but didnt know what top part you meant.

and if you see anything else i need mapped let me know.

Lavitz:

Riverside:
Just past the second (non-bonus) tower, you can head north to avoid the next tower (you enter an area with undead there).
I think you have missed that part.

Tar pit:
You can enter the tar in the far west area, near an 'exit' from the bonus area. From there you can walk a long way up through the tar.

Ice Caves:
You exit Ice Caves and move out. Kill the imps and go down, heading north. Kill the enemies there. Walk the most east side till you get to the group with Siege Ice Golem. Keep heading east and (perhaps) a little to the south from there. There is an empty corner.
In that corner is a small gap that allows you to head up (it's a little to the west on the north side of the corner. The area is not easily walked, you might want to mouseclick on the area you want to be.

You also missed a spot in Gates of Tyria, north west of the first boss.
Also explore the west side of Port Sledge.

Well I got another 1.1% today but now I'm stuck again and running out of ideas where to look. It just doesn't seem like I can scrape for another 1.8% unless I missed something big. Help appreciated

Hey Keneth...

Hope this doesn't overwhelm you. You're doing a great job. Make sure that when you're going over your edges that you hug the wall at a sharp angle and take it slow.

Tar pit: got all this.
Ice Caves: found the little spot to go up and got all of this.
west side of Port Sledge: got this.

Gates of Tyria, north west of the first boss: did you mean gates or kryta? if so, not sure what spot youre talking about.
ill post a new map on here so you can take another look at it. i may try and find a map to do a difference comparison with if i cant find any more to uncover cause even after getting all that i only went up .1%. still hanging at 99.5%

Ok jos, so i just explored for a while now and im at 99.6% that decent!
just that last .4% im having trouble finding, like that one point between mineral springs and spear head... how do i make that smaller i walked past it both ways as slow as i could, also i know i still have 3 specks left in gates of kryta, desslino seaboard and the bottom middle of frozen forest, that might add up to .1 in total

Another question how did u make that big bloch between ice caves of sorrow and talus chute so small, because i tryed to get it through talus chute and its still not as small as yours

I also think im missing a bit between gates of kryta and griffons mouth, could u confirm it for me?

And one last question, how did you get the top left part of frost gate do i need to do the consume corpse trick or something?

Well all in all that would probably add up to .25 max if you think about it is there anywhere else i might be missing so i can finish this off?

Thanks in advanced !

DoH,

The point in Spearhead, you approach it from two ways.
The first is in Tasca's Demise, south east corner. This one is the easiest to miss, but I think you have got it at first sight.
There is however a small spot on the north east point that you have missed.
The Second is in Spear Head, you can walk a bit on the mountain somewhere, just walk to the point while hugging the wall. I think it's near the first Ice Imps you meet when moving from Granite Citadel.
Otherwise, it's just hugging the wall on the north side.

For the point in Talus Chute, post #3327.
This point is about .2%!

Top left frostgate is indeed with necrotic traversal/consume corps.
Take a MM, put him on the bridge on Rurik's side, sac him to death.
The MM must be on the edge, else the minions can't reach Rurik.

You missed a small spot on the west wall in Deldrimor Bowl.
Indeed a bit between gates and griffons, you can reach it when going in the area behind Oink.
Also, it might be that you missed a spot in Scoundrel's Rise, below the entrance to North Kryta.

I think this should get you to 100%.

Lavitz:

Gates of Kryta mission. When you walk the 'normal' route, there is an undead boss on your path.
It's the area west and to the north from that.
Also, in the same mission, it's possible to get some more explored in the South east waters, but it's hard to hit the right spot.

- Scrape the Tomb outpost
- I think you might have missed a part of the 'Great Northern Wall' mission (south side).
Check the wiki article on the spot. If that looks ok, there are two spots that you can reach from just outside Ascalon Citi on the wall and south of Piken square, to squeeze the area some more.
- You missed a spot on the low east wall of Spearhead, I think you can reach it from the Copperhammer outpost (north side).
- Spot in Thirsty River (I think outpost, south side)
- The Scar is not clean. You missed a spot in the center on the north side (you scraped the walls, but left some in the inside
Also, a part near the words 'The Scar' on the zoomed map is still covered.
- A part of the most north large rock in Vulture Drifts looks covered.
- You missed a small spot on the wall in Prophet's Path, above Heroes Audience.
- You have missed a small spot above Ice Tooth Cave (north east of it).
- A part of the black spot west of Beacon's Perch still looks covered.
- The North wall of Nebo Terrace needs some attention.

Eh, it would be nice if all this would be left to explore but did you actually do a comparison? I've compared my map with several others that are 100% and some of these areas look identical. Well I'll give it a try, thanks

You're right... I had no idea what I was doing. I just looked at your map and started circling areas.

Tch, don't snap at me kozou, quite a few areas you marked were unexplorable. And it wasn't meant as an insult I was merely stating the obvious, your map is still helpful and thus very much appreciated.

It's cool. Please show me one area on that map, though, that is not explorable.

Keneth:

There is quite a lot of areas that you can miss and still get GMC.
I have not looked at Dynamite's map, but he could well be right with the spots.
Edit: I looked, all seem explorable

Trienty:
Center rock formation in Deldrimor Bowl, upper side, east wall is not clear.
Same for the east wall of the area.
North wall of Borlis Pass mission looks too dense.
Gates of Kryta mission, north west of first boss.
Talus Chute, north wall straight above Droknar's and a few dense areas west of Droknar's.
Thunderhead Keep, east side of the top area (explore after finishing mission)
You missed a spot above Serenity Temple
Hit north wall in Frost Gate mission outpost
Riverside Province mission, kill last (east) tower and walk to the water and on the pier. The west wall at the start is also not clear.
The Scar, the area behind the ascention rock is not clear.
Arid Sea, south wall (dark area) is too dense
Snake's Dance, south west corner
Iron Mines mission, west wall

It's not that they're completely random and unexplorable, what I was aiming at is that they're just not anymore explorable than they already are on my map. Trust me, I scrape everything twice very slowly and carefully and re-check with detailed maps (close-ups) even if I've already been to that place. It might just be the clouds and jpeg compression-degradation making some things appear unexplored, even as such I've scraped up for another .6% by eliminating everything in Ascalon, Northern Shiverpeaks and Kryta so the markings are still very much useful even if some aren't accurate.

I've looked over Dynamite's map. Trust me when I say you still have work to do on quite a few of the marked areas:
  • Bloodstone Fen--the area behind Hablion and the Bloodstone. Run right past him and explore the corner there.
  • Most of the eastern flank of Iron Mines
  • Inside Evennia's cell in Ice Caves
  • Southern section of Griffon's Mouth, w/ a drake boss.

Those are just the ones that seem obvious on the map.

Yup, cleared those just recently, had those marked on my map already even before Dynamite pointed them out, thanks though I think I'll still come in a little short after I'm done however, I'll post an updated version in higher resolution again later.

Keneth,

I'm not trying to put you down with my posts... please understand that. Here's what I know, though.

I put your map over my own personal map that I've explored 100% in photoshop and did both a difference overlay and a normal overlay with revealing and hiding your map to see differences in areas. This is not a new method as I have done it for many other people and gotten them to 100%.

The areas I circled were very clearly not revealed on your map but they were on my own. I will personally guarantee you that they can be uncovered.

If you need help in game, message me. I've helped other members from here in game on areas they are struggling with.

And I'm not trying to argue or anything but several of those circles were more or less pointless because 1) there was nothing to uncover (aka done already) or 2) can't be gotten to (any further than I already have). In every such case I have checked in photoshop and with close-up screens of other maps but if you are convinced that there is something I missed I'd ask you to post your own map so that I may compare it myself with my updated maps. It's not that I don't trust your judgement but I've done this many times myself as well and I can't see why we would have different results.
