I'm pretty much stuck too, I've mapped the places left to explore and it seems I might at best squeeze out another 1.5-2% I'm at 96.2% atm and I'm starting give up on this thing, I don't really know where you people see any leeway but imo there should way more of it. Any help appreciated, if it's impossible feel free to point it out so that I can move on to other things.

I'm at 99.8% and I can't seem to find the last 0.2%. I am missing denravi/glad/drok/amnoon arenas though...

I've tried diffs and even uncovered areas which most 100% maps don't have.

I am posting high res 1680x1050 shots map with thumbnails, hopefully someone can spot the missing areas.

well im back again. and in need of some help. went away from GW for about a month of playing other games and come back to see i never finished this title. i have 100% of cantha and elona but im stuck at 99.3% of tyria. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Imkey,

The most obvious place I could find was the one right above Ice Caves of Sorrow.
That area is suppost to be clean and your's has a slight blue fog on it.
The east side of The Frost Gate seems not done right, but I'm not really used to look at those high resolution maps.
The same could be true for the area in Gates of Kryta, on the north-west side of the first boss.

I have a question for you.
May I use your high-res images for a tutorial I'm working on?
I've seen lots of maps where the same locations are missing (like the area above Ice Caves of Sorrow) and want to point those out to cartographers.
Using them will mean full maps and parts of them.
I'll credit you for the images.

If I may use them, could you post a 1280x1024?
That so I can determine the differences with your map and mine?

Anyone have a high-res (1280x1024 or 1600x1200) 100% map?
All 100% maps posted in this thread have either been removed, or are rescaled or composite images which can't be used for comparison - and there is no 100% tyria map in Guildwiki.

(If I hit 100%, I'll upload my maps to guildwiki. I've not got quite all - I've not got the old arenas for instance - but it's better than nothing.)

Areas I can confirm: above Ice Caves of Sorrow and the area in Gates of Kryta.
Gates also has a small point in the South east water (walk on the pier to get it)

Furter:
- Area south east of Droknar's (go outside, walk to the south east towards the water)
- a spot between Droknar's and Ice Caves (think you can hit it in north east Droks).
- A tiny spot on the south wall just east of Bergen Hot Springs
- The north side of Nebo Terrace above the entrance to Kryta Province
- The north west beach of Kryta Province (above the small town)
- A spot in 'The Wilds' outpost (north side)
- The low south east corner in Iron Mines (just past the river)
- South West corner of Snake Dance (just outside Camp Rankor)
- South wall of Iron Horse Mine is too thick (below the bridge)

I have some other spots, but don't want to start up my graphics program.

- East wall of Tangle Roots (above entrance to Riverside)
- Water between Riverside and Sanctum Cay (kill tower and walk down to the water and on the pier).

Work harder, there are a lot of walls you did not cover.
Like: Ascalon east of Nolani, Divinity coast south wall, Regent valley west side.

- Top of Borlis Pass

- Area above Ice Caves of Sorrow

I just couldn't get anymore from the pier spot. Every other spot was helpful in revealing a little more.
I actually got the 100% after the first 4 spots u mentioned, but I did the rest anyway for thoroughness. Will post full map later.

edit: actually, I didn't do the ice cave one either yet.

quick glance, you are missing the dunes bonus area. pretty big area there too.
check my 99.8% detailed maps i posted a few posts back.

You have not been in the south west fort.

Other area's:
- The north west beach of Kryta Province (above the small town)
- Evinia's Cell in Ice Caves of Sorrow
- Area above Ice Caves of Sorrow

Can you post your map in Full Screen mode and without the outposts (shift+Printscreen)?
