I've been using the red circled map (thanks Wobrak) and the photoshop trick to figure out what areas I need. I'm now at 99.6% (from 98.5% when I asked for help) thanks to the help of this forum and of course Wobrak. If I could bother you again please, i'll post my 99.6% map up. I can't see anything with the photoshop trick and sometimes I think I have the place my compair map doesn't.

That last 4% sux, btw the image manager isn't working so here is a link to my map:

Thank you Wobrak in advance...

To help you I need a map that is at least one of the resolutions in-game. 1024x768 or 1280x1024 or 1600x1200 is preferred.

Anyone got any tips for mapping the Ring of Fire Islands missions? I've got .6% left to go, and I know that's where I need to go. It's just so hard with henchies and the very few people who are there just want to get through the mission (not that I blame them).

Default At last

Finally made it - sigh of relief.
The last 0.2% was a long haul, Lornar's Pass and The Falls.
A big Thank You to Dougal and Wobrak for the help and to all who have posted here.

Yesterday I finally had my title. I was exploring with a friend of mine, and he had his title 3 hours before me. And all that time i had 99.9% in my screen.
We did Lornar's Pass again and found the last part in the Iron Mines.

Many tnx to Wobrak and Dougal for the work on my map.
(and reading all the postings here did help a lot )

The next question for me is, am I gonna do all this fun stuff all over with my monk or continue with my warrior in Cantha

lennymon, I'll check your map for you this afternoon quick

Alienfrombeyond, do you have a map that we can look at? My last percent came from wall creeping places that I had revisited a few times and still missed. Don't give up though, you are almost there!

Grats Lady Tokaroro!! I'm busy doing Cantha with my ele now since all my other chars are Factions and not Prophecy. If you do decide to try with your monk, you know what to do this time

----

Edit :

Here you go Lennymon, these are the areas that I found. Revisit these areas and you should get the 100% done. If you do post a follow up map, please rememer to hold down SHIFT when taking the screenshot. It removes all the pins and text from the map, making it a lot easier to compare

Found the problem photobucket doesnt do over 1024*768. I'm gonna put a version that fits and set it up so its displayed in 1024*768. How could i put pics that are of a bigger resolution?

When mapping out the Fire Islands with henchies go slow. That's really the only thing to say. I don't know of any tricks to make it easier. The only suggestion is when mapping Hell's Precipice portal area, clear the path that heads north out of the area, then follow that path north. Clearing out all the mobs along the path will take some time so be patient. This northern area is where you kill Rurik. There should be minimal mobs here, if any, so your wall hugging should be easy. Once you've cleared that area go back to the portals and clear out the mobs. Save the middle portal for last so you can map the northern and southern areas with ease. When you done clearing the map continue with the mission.
If all else fails and I'm online, whisper me and I'll help you.

beaverlegions
1024x768 is fine. Really don't need anything bigger. Since you are only at 95% it's going to take a bit of time to ID all areas. While your waiting I can already tell you have to go back to Snakedance and to northern edge of Bolis Pass. I'll post your map later today.

*EDIT - beaverlegions your map is ready. The red circled areas require further exploration.

I may take you up on that offer. All I've got left is some mapping to the west of the fort in the Ring of Fire mission. With henchies, if I take the route through the fort, they just charge in at the Ether Seals and get themselves killed, while taking the back route is just as bad with the Lava Imps with their Meteor Shower and newly improved Mind Burn.

EDIT: Thanks to Liet Talen and Holy Black Man, I am now a Tyrian Grandmaster Cartographer! Thanks a bunch you two!
