Hello there. Could someone please analyse my map. I'm currently at 95.3%, i know there is a bit on the Ring of Fire Island missions and a little bit on THK. Apart from that i'm totally lost.

Thanks in advance!

yeah in your world it goes like this.... I have nothing better to do, mind wasting your time???

Wow dude, you got big #@$%^........ this guy is doing us a HUGE favor by checking our maps, a favor that involves his personal TIME!!! If you can't find spots to clear at 67% then perhaps this title is not meant for you : Too Lazy to look = Too Lazy to clear. In case you haven't noticed, players that ask him for help are over 95% of open map.

Hi Dougal,
Thanks for all the hard work and time you have put in with helping people with thier maps. I was wondering if you could take a look at mine if you get a minute.
I'm up to 98.4%, I think I can see some fog I've missed on Abbadons mouth and The Wilds but apart from that I'm a bit stuck as to where the rest is.
Thanks,
Rog.

Cool

Hiya everyone, this is my first post on these forums, I hope I can be of some use and that in return I can have some help too heh.

elLOCOmutha, straight away I can see some parts of the Southern Shiverpeaks that are clouded off, Thunderhead Keep, the south and south-west of Ice Floe, the vertical section above Ice Caves, the east and very far north of Iron Mines, and I think Ice Dome, or that might be Frozen Forest I'm not sure off by heart.

As a general rule of thumb to all explorers having trouble, I have found that a majority of areas in Tryia are all square/rectangle shaped, and a good few of those areas all have angled corners, some slightly curved. There are exceptions to that 'rule' but if you always keep that in mind and hug the outer walls of every single area in the game, you'll soon realise that, as well as uncover ALOT of land you didn't think possible.

Also, when hugging the walls, always face the wall (move by strafing), and while moving, always hold down right click and constantly look from the left to right, I've found that doing this can in a way increase your field of vision, and in doing that I can always manage to stretch land I uncover to just a lil bit of mist behind the walls I'm hugging.

Now, with that out of the way, I hope that anybody could be of help to me I'm a master cartographer currently at 99.4%, and I feel that the removal of even the smallest bit of mist right now will up me to 99.5%. I know that I've yet to explore all of the three final missions, but before I go there I'm focusing my efforts on some very tiny segments of the southern Shiverpeaks - most notably, the final area of THK which I know I'm missing a small chunk of, and a confusing part of Ice Caves, which is what I need help with. Click on the thumbnail below to see what I'm trying to do.

Normally that patch I've marked wouldn't bother me, it looks as if it's too far away from walkable land to even see, but the reason it's annoying me so much is that on a full sized 100% map I've seen, the area on there looks to be completely uncovered.

This is the map in question, if you look at the same area I've pointed out, on there, its completely white, yet my map shows that area in a blue mist (What it looks like to me anyway). What do your map's look like for that area in particular? Is it white and looks like it's explored properly or does it appear unexplored or not fully uncovered yet? Here's hoping you guys can help me, I don't need a great deal of help but that little push right now would be fantastic

Well I have gone that route before to try and uncover the spot but my misted area is definitely too far away to be able to reach from that eastern part of Talus Chute.

It's annoying me so much, after seeing it on your map, as well as the other 100% map, its definitely clear that the blue misted area I've pointed out must be acheivable, yet I simply cannot reach it. The screenshot I posted in my other thread shows as close as I can get to it in Iron Mines, which is definitely closer than my attempt in Talus Chute, but it's still unreachable.

Unless there is something I've missed, for now I'm gonna give up on that and go finish off the remaining piece of THK I know I'm missing.
