You have a fuzz right at the entrance to SF that can be cleared
In perdition rock to the north east there is a small island (kind of looks like a ferengi space ship that can be cleared a bit)
Dang you have a lot more of that eastern edge of kessex peak than I do, I just went through there, must need to go through that swamp bit more carefully
That's all I can see. The whole disabled PvP arenas thing is really unfair

Take a look at my southern Shiverpeaks map here: http://img370.imageshack.us/img370/6219/myshiver3fy.jpg
I believe there's a bit more you can clear in this area. Specifically, there are a couple spots in the Iron Mines mission and another small one in the SW part of Ice Floe that look like they could be uncovered. I've circled spots on your map in red that you'll want to check out: http://img370.imageshack.us/img370/6...erpeaks2qi.jpg
If I see anything more, I'll let you know. Hope this helps!

Here you go: A match-up of your map with Cherno's. As always, differences highlight in white-ish (which means, there isn't much except for some spots in the Shiverpeaks, and of course the LA arena).

The background info for my map:
- I started uncovering 100% of the map from the very beginning, so there's no areas that I feel I need to backtrack every nook and cranny.
- I'm split down the middle on arena exploration. I never PvP'ed with this character (0 deaths) and I don't think I explored ALL of the TA area before it was moved.
- I have a smidgeon of the Dunes of Despair bonus left.
- After I reached 100%, I've only found two areas that needed to be uncovered (a Northern Shiverpeaks mesh glitch and the staging areas for the charr in the first mission; I would estimate .5 to .7% total AT BEST).
- I reached 100% with either 50% or 66% of Hell's Precipice left, so I was well above the mark.

Hi Mich,
We already chatted in game, and here is my map of D'Alessio showing you the areas there I think you have missed.
I hope this helps.

I didn't have time to read this entire thread so I'm just going to post things that may or may not seem redundant.
I like these new title things, and the fact that I had 99% cleared on exploring when it was introduced makes me even happier. But I've been looking at all the situations and how much % you get for clearing areas and I can safely say that there is more then 100%'s worth to clear. 99% and I have still yet to clear any large amount of The Falls. Not to mention the others who say they've reached 100% without fully clearing certain areas.
Next I'd like to suggest something that they could perhaps put into the game for this sort of thing. For instance, those who want to clear all of the map and get the 100%. Some or a lot of them get very near '99.0%' and so on, but they have no idea as to where they have not cleared to their fullest.
If anything this would be a question as to, could there or should there be a way in the future to determine in which area it is that the map has not been cleaned to its fullest? For example, now that the areas all have their names displayed on them, could there not be a percentage count under the name or something like that to show how much of it has been cleared? That way to help all easier determine where it is that they should explore next.
I'd like to hear what people think.

brobath.......I can see one small spot....in the ice caves mission, when you are running with evinia for the boat there is a small path to the left (by a catapult) if you run left instead of right you can net another .1 possible (you will reveal a bit more of that lake and other shore).....thats the only thing I see....as I just completed that mission (again)
likewise here is my latest map, I am at 98% and still need someone to come with me for the thunderhead keep that knows about our mapping obsession
and I still need to redo sanctum again to get that east area.
and how does one get to the eastern edge of d'alessio? I have only part of that as well and ran the edges as much as possible

Awesome. This makes finding differences so much easier, it's almost cheating!
But it looks like I have to do Ring of Fire again...and go the back route...ugh.
I'm at 80% at the moment, I've still got the Falls, Southern Kryta and most of Southern Shiverpeaks to clear. And yeah, you can see the little area missing in Dunes of Despair (south-east).

I'm also at 80%. I've spent today Tracing around the Crystal Desert and I'm currently in Southern Shiverpeaks headed towards Beacons. Can't say how long it's taken me to fight from Rankor to Beacons.
Edit: I just got the You've been playing for 4 hours message.

i'm at 92.5% and am too lazy to fill in all those blanks.
attached is a zoomed out version of my difference map compared with a 100%.
some minor quips...
- i did THK and wall-hugged the outer border all around the area outside the fort, yet i am still missing some...
- i did Dunes of Despair bonus area via Necrotic Traversal glitch and again, wallhugged the outer border, but alas, still missing some...
does it appear that i still have 7.5% to go? it looks like... not enough... ):

Whew, did nolani and Hells tonigh, as well as a small spot on Perdition rock that I noticed I had missed.
Up to 99.2%!!! For the love of god I don't know how I am going to get that last .8%
I've seen some comparisons and I think there is the tiniest bit at the north of the surmia lake, I know I have the SE corner of tascas' demise to get and one small spot in Kessex peak.
Will surely be posting another pic tomorrow night for help.

I currently have 99.2% discovered. I know I have a little tad in the back of Ring Of Fire, which is possibly .2%, and the very top left of Ice Dome.. can someone please help me with anything else you can catch, thanks... I'm so lost.

Aside from Ice Dome (which you already mentioned), the only thing jumping out at me is that you have a bit more you can get in the NW part of the Dunes bonus area (that "groove" that runs N/S along the western edge of Dunes should extend a bit more to the N). Maybe you can use one of those nifty difference maps to pinpoint what you're missing. Otherwise I'd suggest posting some zoomed-in pictures so we can take a closer look.

speaking of mapping and of difficulties getting past 91% - me too. But am I the only one who cannot use gwguru.com's map of tyria seince it was updated because it constantly is loading and re-loading?
It used to be easy to do and I found many little areas within missions and towns by comparing - now I'm stuck. Any other decent maps out there?

http://www.prism.gatech.edu/~gte206w/MAPFINAL.jpg is great, i used for my last few .X%'s
the one in guru's gallery is horrible, its way too big (file size), its impossible to play and load that map at the same time.

That map is very good but things like the little tid bit I had to get at sorrows entrance are really really hard to see.. I finished up back of ring of fire, ice dome, sorrows entrance, NW of dunes, and a little side in the scar I had no idea it just pushed a tad more.. at 99.4% =(

Sigh, 99.6%
From what I can see the only place that I have left to walk the walls is both sides of Iron Mines. Don't imagine that will be .4%
Can someone do another comparison map for me (don't have appropriate software to do it) and maybe circle the spots that I need to check (I still have a hard time reading that difference map)
Thanks!
