Default Gate of Desolation....

This mission is just too hard. Even with 3 good healers, i get pwned every time i try it, when the second wave comes with that retarded paragon boss, we just fall in seconds, he does like 100 damage every attack, any advice?

Melonni + [skill]Heart of Holy Flame[/skill]
Koss + [skill]Heart of Holy Flame[/skill]
Zhed = whatever

Who cares when the bosses are doing 100+ damage when Koss and Melonni are doing 100+ damage on each hit. I ran that in HM and I was aggrooing everything and killing them just as quick

Stand back out of that pit area where you're led to and pull them in groups of three. With HoHF this mission is easily H/H'ed, even in HM.

It's pretty easy in HM without HoHF, but the advice about positioning is spot on. Make sure you're stood up on one side of the pit and lure mobs out, think I stood on the East side, not sure it matters that much.

Bring an interupt for the Paragon's Rez if you're not killing him in time.

One issue might be using three healers. I generally use a 3-monk backline, but I throw a good dose of protting into them (one dedicated healer and two heal/prot hybrids - some players would consider this too much, but it works exceptionally well). Damage reduction > straight healing.

Other things that can help are bringing a geomancer for a coupla wards, and a ranger or mesmer to interrupt the hard rez skills that the undead monks and paragons use. A smiting monk could potentially be useful as a damage dealer due to the main enemies being undead, if that's a strategy that you think you could get to work..

Well, you dont need interrupting their ress skill if you bring rangers Frozen Soil, but be carefull with that spirit, you will not be ressed too.

restoration spirit (or whatever spirit rezs dead allys in area when dies) ignores the effects of frozen soil....guildwiki.org

^^ need tips use it!

very easy mission IMO in NM/HM...reroll zhed as a smiter / melonni with HoHF and avatar of balthazar and a monk hero with WoH elite...both monk hench, derv hench, para hench...mission is pretty unfailable with this lol

from what I saw of your details on side of page your a derv? run HoHF and balthazar avatar and just equip mass scythe damage skills = dead enemys in seconds

People People. For HM we need Defence. [skill]Defensive Anthem[/skill][skill]Enfeebling Blood[/skill] and tbh i have listed these skills so often i really cant be bothered to do it again. Basically most of the damage dealers are melee bring melee shut down. And Frozen Soil is also Handy here cos the ressing is gay by that para lord guy.

I find these mission fairly easy. Do the following: Get Zb and WoH monk, zhed to Searing Flames or Invoke Lightning build. then, get Kihm devona, eve, some other henchmen and then you. I dont know what proffesion you are but what i do goes for all professions...Ursan pwns all the time

Now just do the mission should be fairly easy you shouldnt die if you do...probably just one
