Black Moa and Spider are trivial to add, Phoenix requires the leveling effort. Different challenge missions are easy enough to herohench, and when you do Glint's Challenge for Brotherhood Armor you'll get some Destroyer Cores as well.
* 5 titles is again trivial but takes some time. Actually, everything up to r5 KoaBD is pretty reasonable and only r6 requires mindless grinding.
* 5 sets of prestige armor, that's a couple of more than you actually need. If you have been salvaging stuff along the way then GW:EN armor is the way to go because of smaller price tag. No need to rune or dye, just record them and either store away or recycle right away.
* 11 destroyer weapons, biggest waste of them all. Doing all dungeons at least once both in NM and HM and clearing UW and FoW provided about 40 diamonds and onyx to me - your mileage may vary. The rest I bought, them being pretty affordable these days. Granite and iron were cordially provided by Hulking Stone Elementals in Old Ascalon (55 SV necro, regular salvage all loot). Crafted one of each skin, heroes appreciate, my purse didn't.
I'm thinking after i get all rainbow phoenix ill go after the minis... i recently got a gwen... so I'm happy about that..

+1!
I only need the destroyer weapons to get the maxed HoM and i am saving the money at the moment, lol. Its a really enourmous quantity of k's just throwed to the trashbin. If you can use them account wide... yeah, but this way.... no.And if they were cool.... well they would worth the effort. But the real thing is that they are almost horrible (for me). Mmm the spear ... might be i like it a bit.

And BTW, dont Anet tell ya what u will get then? No sentences about that on Gaile chats, i think. And u dont get a text in-game, do you?.

I hope that all of our efforts to get it maxed doesnt transform into a "I fully maxed a HoM and only got this GW2 Tshirt"

BTW, Rainbow Phoenix can't be placed on the monument. You need the imperial phoenix from endgame Factions.

This is ridiculous. I guess you don't have to get them all, but if the rewards in GW2 get better depending on how stocked your hall of monuments is, it might be worth it.
I always thought it was a bit silly of them to have destroyer weapons customised. If they can "Dedicate" minipets, surely they can "Dedicate" weapons so that you can display them in your main characters' Hall of Monuments and use them on their intended character? What will my Elementalist do with a Destroyer Scythe, really?

I intend to buy all the Destroyer weapons in the end...but use them on their intended characters. When GW:2 comes out, I'll put them all in my Elementalist's HoM. I think it's the only way to do it... Only downside to it all is that if you show your Hall off to anyone you have to say "Oh, by the way boys, I have all the destroyer items but I#m not putting them in the hall yet".

As for obtaining said Destroyer Weapons...I'm enjoying re-doing NM dungeons and filling up Dungeon Guides for Reputation - I'm obtaining a fair few Onyx Gemstones from those, and let's face it, the 5k + diamonds are hardly a big deal.

As for minatures...you only need 20 to "fill" the Devotion monument. I've got 13 or so in there now from festivals, promotions and first birthdays. In the next few months I'll start on my second birthdays...I should be able to fill the Devotion monument up nicely. There is no need to buy minipets if you have a stack of characters, even if they're just mules.

I would speculate that the carry-over benefits will be determined by the level of the floating statue over your titles monument. There are 5 levels to it based on your accomplishments, and you can max it out even if you don't get the 30-title title by filling the other displays. It just seems like there has to be some significance to that statue, in my mind. So once you fill that out to lvl 5, then you are probably good.

I might be completely off here, but it seems like it might make sense. Otherwise, why not just throw up another banner in that spot? Anyways, benefits probably won't be substantial anyway, so I wouldn't worry too much

Jenim meant that the people who cried can buy it in the store later on.

I don't think that will happen though, just as you can't buy the preorder factions/nightfall weapons in the online store.

They're mine! And I'm not sharing .

For those who said r5 KoaBD is needed to fill the HoM, your wrong, at least according to wiki. Once you have 5 titles/accomplishments, 5 heroes/pets, 5 elite armor, 11 destroyer weapons, 20 mini pets, you only need r4 KoaBD. This is because once you fill out the non-KoaBD parts, the statue thing at the Honor goes up a "KoaBD level" (or whatever you want to call the progression), and sense without filling out the rest of the HoM r5 is needed, only r4 is needed with a filled HoM to have that statue all the way out.

You need Rank 1 of Maxed Titles "Kind of a Big Deal", which is only 5 maxed titles needed. Once you reach lvl 1, "Kind of a Big Deal" will show on screen when you enter your hall. Then you can display all your Maxed Title statues and will be considered filled for the part. Not sure what you mean by r5 and r4 (rank 5/4?).

R1 of Kind of a Big Deal, improves the statue. R2 (People Know Me) improves it again, R3 (I'm Very Important) improves it again, R4 (I Have Many Leather-Bound Books) improves it again, and R5 (My Guild-Hall Smells of Rich Mahogany) maxes out the statue.

As has been pointed out, filling all the monuments, with 20 mini-pets, 5 Hero Armours, 5 elite character armours, and 11 Destroyer Weapons increases the statue by one rank.. so maxed monuments will turn a normally R3 statue into a R4 one. Does that make it clearer?

I'm not following about having to "fill" the hall of monuments and what is this about "improving" the statues? I have R2 I guess (People Know Me) but what does that do in HoM? The statues don't look any different to me. So far I have 2 elite armor sets, are you saying if I get 5 elite armor sets there is some benefit to that? A pointer to where to read about that would be most helpful. Same with destroyer weapons, as a warrior, I have a sword and shield. Are yo saying there is some benefit to getting all of the destroyer weapons? I already have things displayed on all monuments. Thanks -Joe

The statue at the Monument of Honor (the one that doesn't accept tapestry) reacts to your KoaBD rank and the state of the monuments. There are 6 different stages corresponding to ranks 0 to 5, and if you fill all the 5 monuments that is counted as an extra rank. So, r5 KoaBD (My GH Smells) gets a 'maxed' statue. R4 KoaBD (Leather-bound Books) + 5 full monuments qualifies for a maxed statue as well. The wiki page has a screenshot showing the progression.

As to what that means, nobody knows until GW2 comes out
