This all started several months ago when I decided to make a baby moa chick. I walked all through luxon territory only to be told I can't get into the hatchery unless I did some luxon things and raised up my luxon rep. This seemed really unfair to the kurzicks since it doesn't help us at all so I just gave up on it.

Fast forward to this week and I had collected all the pieces except for that incubator kit so I try it again. I go down there again hoping that they might let me in with all that other junk to get the kit and I'm declined at the door again. Someone said to get 10k luxon pts so I farmed all day and tried it again and dude said to talk rhea in cavalon and she says to go to aspenwood and help them. But when I get there I am a kurzick and I don't think I can help the luxons fight. I am not sure since I can't find a team to go against or with or whatever.

The more I think about it, the more silly and stupid this game seems. I think they put that part in to get people to compete there again, but it sucks so not many people like to do it unless they need the pts or a moa. It's like anet developers knew that it would mess up certain people and made it so you would have to do all this extra bs that the luxons don't have to go through so that you can get a pet moa. Maybe they are required to compete tehre too but at least they get pts toward their alliance etc. Maybe I wouldn't mind so much if they made some kind of baby something for the kurzicks that required the luxons to do the same things.... but w/e.

CLIFFS: What does a Kurzick do to get into the hatchery. I will pay someone to walk me thru it or explain concisely how its accomplished. I have 10k useless luxon pts and the cities surrounding the hatchery to the north and west. If it requires more than a few hours, don't bother. I am close to just buying one. Hell, I could have just bought a few of them and been better off. 35k??? Those things should be worth 75+ for all the bs that goes into getting them.

You need to get the 10000 luxon faction do the quest befreinding the luxons from Rhea. Then get stolen eggs from Rhea and do the stolen eggs quest and you will get acess to gyala hatchery, after that.Do the mission and you will teleport to the leviathan pits. Which will give you acess to gyala hatchery explorable area.

When you arrive in Cavalon for the first time, you talk to Rhea and she wants you to Befriend the luxons by getting 10k Luxon Faction. Once you have this the quest is complete, take the reward and she will give you the quest "Stolen Eggs" you then do this quest which takes you into Gyala Hatchery.

Do the mission there and you end up in Leviathan Pits. From there you can walk into Gyala Explorable and go get the incubator kit.

Getting to Fort Aspenwood is just another quest she gives, just like Count Zu Heltzer gives you a bunch of quests when you first arrive in HzH.

Luxons have the same issue getting the baby moa, they need to get through Eternal Grove in order to get to Mourning Veil Falls to harden the egg. So it's pretty balanced.

You have to first complete the quest "Befriending the Luxons", thats the 10k luxon part. That quest is obtained from elder rhea in Cavalon. Since you've already got the 10 000 luxon faction its just a simple matter of you taking the quest and then immediately completing it.

Following this the quest "Stolen Eggs" becomes available. Once again this is available from Elder Rhea in Cavalon. Follow the quest instructions and arrow and it will lead you to your objective and eventually the reward that is within Cavalon

O, one extra note, you might need to completely empty your store of Kurzick faction... I'm fairly certain it doesn't matter how much Kurzick faction you have when attempting to go into Gyala Hatchery but you never know... and better safe than doing the quest only to find you can't go in.

Also, luxons need to do exactly the same thing on the kurzck side, so dont take it personally.

You need to complete the Befriending the Luxons quest, which is where the 10K luxon stuff comes in. You need that for Protector/Guardian of Cantha anyway, so it's not a big deal. You can even spend the Luxon faction without a problem and work on the Luxon title, but every point you spend reduces your current Kurzick total.

Rhea gave me 2 quests... Fort Aspenwood and Jade. I went to Jade and talked to someone and now it's off my list. I went to aspenwood and there isn't anyone to talk to. Do I need a guest invite to a luxon guild? If so can anyone give me one. I have 10k in luxon and like 700 factions in Kurzicks. Do I need to and how do I get rid of 700 pts?

I went to the Eredon Terrace in Maishang Hills and paid the priest so that I could get pts along the way. Just as you leave Eredon, pay the priest and there is a dude that gives a repeatable quest for 400 pts... By completing the quest and killing patrols and bosses along the way, I think I got around 1.5k a run and a few golds and a couple of green. Not as fast as HFFF, but if you don't want to wait....

Journey to Cavalon

Talk to Jamai in Maatu Keep, make sure you have done this quest, then talk to Elder Rhea.

As for who you talk to in Fort Aspenwood, they're in the actual mission launch area (were you're forced to be solo), not the outpost (where you can make a PvE party).

It's..not that hard? If you're already in cavalon and have the 10k required, you should be able to do "befriending the luxons". After completing that, get the quest "stolen eggs" from Rhea. Check your quest log please...that quest requires you to carry a bundle one part of maishang hills to the other (leave from cavalon). when you get to the npc indicated in the marker, he should let you in if you have the quest and the eggs. Also for the aspenwood barely considered pvp battle, it doesn't matter what faction you're aligned to, you can do it regardless...
