Tips and Help for Frostmaw's Burrows [MERGED]
Frostmaw's Burrows in NM is way too tough.
I mean comon, they increased the numbers of wurms, and all of them use "Wurm Bile" which is WAAAAAAAY overpowered.
40 dmg each second for 20 seconds, AoE spell? Wtf was wrong with Anet.
It nearly took me and my friend 2 hours to complete that damn thing in NORMAL mode.

this dungeon is one of the harder ones added in with gwen, it takes good pullers and good players to do most of it, it is also a very very long dungeon. most dungeons are 2-3 lvls, frost is a 5lvler it takes a long time to complete.
once you learn the spawns and which guys to pull where you can get it down to 1.5hours in HM. til then keep practicing.

You can shutdown the worms' melee output using blind/weakness, and since they clump up when they surface they are easy targets of epidemic. Wurm Bile is argghhh, though. Combine with Weakness[Enervating Charge]/Cracked Armor[Shell Shock]

Just completed this dungeon on normal in about 1.5 hours. We used 3 heroes: Livia, Olias (MM), and Master of Whispers (Spiteful Spirit). The rest of the team was 1 warrior, 1 assassin, an ele, a monk, and myself (dom mesmer).
Bring a mesmer with Hex Eater Vortex and Hex Eater Signet. Cry of Frustration or Power Spike interrupts wurm bile. The dungeon wasn't particularly difficult with interrupts.
To be honest, this dungeon is worth the effort just to see the fifth floor with high graphics enabled. Frostmaw's room is definitely screenshot worthy.

I do this with H/H in normal mode in exactly 1.5hrs, and did it once last week. Used 3 smiter heroes, 2 henchie monks, and 2 eles. Not that bad at all. but harder than other dungeons still. It was in NM.
Then did it in HM while I did the tanking. Had a guildie help out, so it was 6 heroes and 2 humans. Very rough...indeed.

I agree that it is the most difficult NM dungeon (probably equal with Slavers) but really, Obsidian Tank?

Did Frostmaw's with some guildies, totally random teams, still, we had no problems. Took us awhile of course (1h45m or so), but it's not that hard...

There's nothing wrong with the difficutly in that dungeon, especially not in NM.
About those wurms, just a have a warrior ( a NORMAL one, one that does damage) run in first while the rest hangs back a bit, all wurms will aggro nicely around the warrior. All you need then is have someone cast SS on the wurms and it's gg.
Ofcourse you need to know where exactly these wurms popup but once you've done it a few times you'll know all the spawns. At least I do.
And it should only take around an hour btw.

Me and a friend completed it with seven rangers and one monk...its not that tough. Here is a screen shot of us resigning right after we collected our reward. I'll post the builds if any one is interested.

lol its damn easy... HM takes 90mins for my group when we do it... Ob tank is kinda dumb except for the drakes lol. And as far as wurm bile goes... hex removal is not a terrible idea or healing seed = wurm bile too and heals all melee every second lol. SH eles btw are better than SF too, since the wurms dont move and just sit in the SH and die.

Replace all SF Elementalists with Splinter/Barrage Rangers and take a proper SS/Mark of Pain Curses Necro with you.
Get rid of the Obsidian Tank. This area does not require nor reward such a specialized build.
Though you should be able to make it with 3 SF Eles as well.

I've done it in normal mode several times, with H/H - usually around 1.5 hours, isn't any harder in HM really, except for those Incubus. Just use common sense and you'll be fine.

You can Barage pet it or acutaly any group will do specialy for NM.
Once you get to last part, after killing the little wurm run to the end of the precipice. That way The Boss will have onlythe choice tu spawn on the edge of that wall and not around your team at a random.
Dont go fast, becarfull of those flying bird as they are Air Spiker and will kill you or your team in one or 2 hits.

It was pretty difficult for me, but mostly because my friend left at the end of level two, and his heroes were gone when I got to level 3. From there took about an hour to beat it with only 3 heroes...I got really mad toward the end when I thought I couldn't beat one mob.

2 fire ele(hero)
2 monk 1 hero woh 1 player hb
2 necro hero ss and mm
rush through everything pretty easy, don't play nm mode hm is just a little bit longer.
