Been 2-manning with a guildie:

Me (W/N20 Swords 10+1+1, Tactics 11+1, Strength 10+2 = 480 HP)
1. Flurry
2. Hundred Blades
3. Final Thrust
4. Watch Yourself
5. Dolyak Signet
6. Plague Touch
7. Healing Signet
8. Sprint

Guildie (W/Mo 20 Axe.. don't know his attributes)
1. Flurry
2. Cyclone Axe
3. Cleave
4. Watch Yourself
5. Dolyak Signet
6. Shields Up
7. Healing Signet
8. Sprint

2 manning makes it quite easy to kill the skale, since their hate is spread across 2 people. They haven't dropped anything worth it yet though, but we did about 5 runs so the loot was getting bad. In general the run is of course easier with 2 people but then you get half the loot. I'm not sure about the offensive/defensive balance, but I'm sure plague touch isn't worth it. The net effect on the spider is -2 degen... still, my guildie with cleave kills faster, and our weapons are pretty comparable:
Me: Zealous Fellblade of Defense, max dmg, armor +5, +11% in stance
Guildie: Zealous Summit Axe of Defense, max dmg, armor +4, +11% in stance

Guess axe wins in killing power. We're both using the "runner's shield", +45/-2 in stance. If I throw in Seeking Blade or Pure Strike for hundred blades and use defy pain, maybe things might work better.

Gotta keep min/maxing and tossing around skills to find a good balance.
3 shards total between the two of us. The first three runs we died on the skale when dryders were on us. Not good. The successful runs, we ate up the skale.

thats a bit overkill on the healing and defence. the run isnt that hard. if you just put in watchful spirit (+2 health regen) you wont need to put any points in monk secondary, and can focus on strength to boost dyolak signet etc.

hope that helps. all of the above is contained somewhere in this thread.

I think Plague Touch may be better than Galrath Slash. It's only going to be -2 degen when they have Melandru's Resilience in effect. 4 health per second as opposed to the 8 adrenaline required for Galrath Slash. The only thing to worry about is Savage Shot.

Also, you can find a req 9 15% damage stance sword in Snake Dance. 5 mountain troll tusks.

ok thought it over a bit more here is my final result (even though not tested)

cleave{elite}
power attack
watchyourself
doylak sigit
healing sigit
balthzars spirit
live vicasouly
sprint

9 tactics (+1)
12 strength (3+1)
14 axe (+3)
8 healing

balthzars spiri is one of my favourite enchatments and agasin't these spider you will be getting about 5-10 enery per sec LOL. and some extra adrenline making every 3 hits u get 1 cleave and u can spam power attack aswell so 1/2 your attacks will be (+20-26) dmg

live vicsouly will cut off your poisen by healing 8 on hits ever 1.33 secs so that will keep your health steady and you may not even need to do healing sigit more than once or twice.

i may be wrong in some areas but i think i now have it worked out.
but in thoery this should be almost perfect.

Typically they will only use Savage Shot (in my build anyway) when you're using Healing Signet when you're into your temporary health reserves. By that I mean I'm using a shield with +45 health in stance so when I'm below 45 health they'll use it.

spamming healing signet is not a bad way of healing in this build. dont be scared to use it.

plus, balth spirit is smiting prayers isnt it? is the energy and adrenaline you get from it at 0 smiting prayers worth the effort?

using two superior runes? you're starting to scare me.

maybe its a good idea to test your build ideas in the game. or have you done so already? cos i would love to hear how a farming build using 2 superior runes works out.

Actually I used to use 2 superior runes sometimes when farming griffons as my warrior. 380 health, still worked just as effectively.

The adrenaline gain on Balthazar's Spirit is minimal, and the calculations on it are rather awkward. Anyway, the purpose of using it would be more for the endless amount of energy than the adrenaline gain.

How effective do you think this build would be?

Mending
Watchful Spirit
Sever Atery
Gash
Final Thrust
Doylak Signet
Watch Yourself
Healing Signet

sword -10 (1)
tac -10(1)
str -9(2)
healing -12

When casting mending you use a +1 healing prayers item till you get 4pips with it then cast watchfull so you have 6pips. So even when posioned you will have 2pips.

the only thing i can comment on in your build is that you definitely need sprint in there to get past the first shadow mobs.

a shatter from one of the dryders would be quite painful for you though. without spammable skills, wastrel's would also hurt a lot. the lack of sprint has already been mentioned, and sever + gash will give the spiders +4 pips of hp regen from melandru's resistance. so basically, they will have +1 and deep wound.

i'd say your best bet is to give it a try and see how you fare.

Mending
Watchful Spirit
Cleave
Penetrating Blow
Sprint
Doylak Signet
Watch Yourself
Healing Signet

Axe -10 (1)
tac -10(1)
str -9(2)
healing -12

Also I believe you only need 8 Healing Prayers to get Mending at +3. And since you have no other Healing Prayers on your bar, it's safe to bump up your other attributes.

P.S. it's a Wingblade 0_o pretty

the majority of enemys that you are fighting that do the big damage (spiders) dont have hexes, and even for fighting the dryders this isnt a big deal as WW is the only damage skill and can be completely avoided (damage wise).

Personally, I always kill the dryders before I spawn the spiders. Also, given that in some player's builds they are using enchantments which would be shattered if the dryders are left alive.

With 12 healing adn a +1 healing item i have i can booast healing up to 13 so 4pips, was the main reason realy, so it should give 2pips even when poisoned
