Buy your armbraces while they are still at 45-50e
you act like armbraces are rare or soemthing, there tons of them out there in the high end market because of duping and the 117. I expect a sudden jump in prices when build goes live, but stablizing mb alittle higher than rigth b4. Happened when ecto when the ua nerf happened.

I have actually seen a few people trying to form up fast full run groups recently though, maybe they'll be joined by the others during the oct update.

We've got it down to consistantly around 2.5 hours now for HM fullrun These runs have been far from perfect and I'm pretty sure we soon will be able to break 2 hours.

Hahaha, that screenshot really puzzled me.
Would love to see that team build. You are probably ranger hence the 3 bips of energy regen. Weird spot to end a run ... party leader did solo the last boss mobs and is therefore greyed out? Shadowstep traverse in veil to the outter rim or rebirth? No cons up at that time?

Very interesting movement pattern of yours ... CURIOUS!

It is meant to stimulate some interest at least

As for ending the run in city, we normally end it in the area that drops the gems most of the team needs to finish up their armbraces. We can start any where and finish any where really.

Party leader is greyed out due to name related issues and guild policy.

Default Mallyx, Any attempts since the nerf?

I plan on taking a stab at Mallyx this week since the nerf, i have searched the forum high and low and all i find is builds with the infamous 'Ursan' which no longer works in that area. Has anyone tried it since?

It was a guide-you can find it also on pvxwiki.

This weekend there were some issues with Guru and Inde et al. are busy getting everything squared away.

I assume that you removed some names because they would give away the profession. But you weren't carefully enough the chatlog still shows *name* picking up item :-P.
So i guess its cryway with a shadowtank sin.

OT: DoA isn't dead. Just no more pugs which mostly failed anyway, even with ursan. I do it quite often, with cryway ofc and we're down to 2h-2h15m. If you have a team of very experienced players (most important the tank) you can easily do it in 1.5h (HM) or less

FYI, the name of the person who is picking up the item is clearly visible in party list...so gg on that one.

As for 1.5 h, screens or it didnt happen! As far as I know, post nerf, this is the only concrete proof that I have seen of an ~2.5 hr DoA run. Not seen anything faster. And believe me, I would LOVE to be proven wrong.

I am pretty sure that with a decent build and a very experienced group a 1.5h full HM run is possible. It is not very realistic however; to expect that on a regular basis. An average experienced grp run should be around 2h or so, and a semi-experienced team around 2.5hs.

If it is a cryway team, then its very much like any trinity team, tank, damage, heal/protect. To do the times as fast as described, the NT trick through the foundry rooms likely cannot be used or very much.

Use to tank all the time before EotN, so choke points and corners, knowing where to pull the groups to allow them to pile up is important for speed and team success. For example knowing where to stand in the Gloom cave is critical, so I am not sure this is the team that is being used as it takes a lot of coordination and communication. Ventrilo or TS help a lot.

sry if the conversation switched somewhere in the last 7 pages, i just read the OP and then came to reply

Yea i am getting into doing DOA runs more and more now with balanced teams they are great fun (if i have the time to complete a full run). DOA is better then it ever was before now with balanced teams.

hi - i just wanted to say that you can still make a pug doa team.

I did some areas with just 1 guildie and 6 heros.

We had 1 war(human) + Sabway Necros
1 Monk HB (human) + fire ele hero + 2nd mm hero + divert hexes/prot hero monk

We might try changing the 2nd mm for a norn 10 ursan and hero ele for human ele to see how that goes - human ele and high norn ursan should be easy to find in GoA.

Build still needs some tweaking to quicken and get through easier but if the mobs are lured good die fast.

There is already a Hero build for DoA NM runs. Yours seems somewhat similar short of Imba.

Also if you just glitch the door to the Citadel so you can pull Mallyx out he goes down easy and fast, don't have to deal with enviremental effects or the margonite spawns, you can pull him all the way back to city wall if you like.

Mallyx himself is really a joke. 2x Gaze of Fury, one ranger with an interrupt camping Mallyx if he tries to revive him. Don't enchant, don't hex him, simple.
