I've been away for the last 2 months. It's a combination of maxing out my skill titiles and business trips. As a result, today, I went to the Temple of Ages to see if I could join a FOW or UW group and everything has changed. I need help at getting current as to what is going on. I have questions. BTW, my main character is an Ele.

1)What happened to Ursans? I was never really a fan of Ursans and it seems that flavor of the week is history.

2)SC is Speed Clear, but, what's a cryer? I have figured out that it is a Me/A with the skill Cry. Why is that in demand and what is a good cryer build?

3)This is my main question. What are Ele's going as now? What are my choices as to the role of Ele's? I've done UW and FOW with various builds over the years, but, I have no idea what people were asking for, today.

1). Ursans got nerfed
2). Cry of Pain lots of AoE armor ignoring damage gogo (newest nuker for tank n' spank)
3). Mostly "terras" for UW speed clears all a varient of perma shadow form build that clear an area in teh UW so as to complete it fast, do not have particular builds.

I prefer being a nuker over terra. Are there Ele/Mes nuker builds using Cry of Pain? I'll do a search. On the other hand, I could easily come up with my own.

SC-UW doesn't usually use ele nukers. The team build is on this forum. Basically, it's a FoC Necro, an SS Necro and Terra's.

Oh, and the terras aren't actually terras anymore, they're Perma Shadow Form Sins (A/E) with 12 earth magic. The build also requires the use of consets, and everyone contributes for those. Since the debuff of Unyielding Aura, it is common for these runs to fail.

Check out the Giveaways in Ventari sub-forum, there is a guy offering to show all the roles for no charge, but the passengers have to pop consets before they suicide to watch him run. More than fair, really.

1. Ursan got nerfed to the floor so no one use it anymore.
2. CoP mesmers use that on hexed targets to sorta do a spike, its like discord really
3. the only spot for eles are either as cryers, and ya they can be really good cryers, or as terras. SC rely on terras to clear the UW to as fast as possible and use cons.

Its not necessarily a foc necro now. The faster teams run 6 terras, a N/Rt SS & A chamber sin

Lot of eles using this cry build in DoA : OgVCEMzUtwSgNoFXk4WDtAIA, couple of changes and it would be fine for fow.
Some using echo chain cop, but that sucks.... but so do pugs so you'd probably get by with it.

Thanks, everyone, for the help. I really appreciate it. I knew I would get some good answers in here. Funny, I posted a question in game, but, of course, I was blown off as some noob, even though I have 13 million XP and have been playing for 3 years.

I'll check out the guy in the Giveaways. After a couple of run throughs, I will be good to go. I don't mind using my consets.

you're in luck, the most ran prof for UW is an E/A Terra w/SF, sliver, and other stuff
