Default Its back. Doa Ursan runs :)

Alright before people flame and say find a differnt way to do it I have always strived to do things the fastest way possible whether using ursan or another mean to do it.

Ok so here goes the new way that is actually faster if done correctly then the older ursan ever was. What is need 2-3 monks and 5-6 ursan depending on how good your monks are. Ok so what kinda ursan are needed for this all powerful run.
Ok here goes the break down of the team i usually run with.

2 hb monks typical old ursan run build.
1 warrior or ele ursan that when coming out of ursan is considered the tank.
3-4 ursan that are / mesmer. the goal is for the 4-5 ursan to have arcane echo and cry of pain on the bar for when out of ursan.
1 ursan/me Dedicated hexor/no arcane echo/ but still uses cry of pain.

Done properly this has the capabilities of out damaging the old ursan in almost everyway possible.

Why this group fails with pugs- many pug monks don't realise that as soon as the war is out of ursan they have to seed him and he has to get his "tanking" skills up. The ursan cryers don't cry targets that are hexed -.-(biggest problem i have seen) Otherwise once a team has it and goes with it this has done a hm quad run in a little over an hour. Best time i think was 1 hour 13 minutes.

um......it doesn't look too bad, i think it might work, though i don't know how your tank is gonna tank without an elite skill ( earth magic enchants will get striped in seconds, and the warrior high health skils won't keep him alive for more then a few seconds).
though i like the main idea, i think it needs some improvment.

Spellbreaker + bonds on one of the monks would probably work.

Try with, 2HB monks then a monk with AP.

Rest of group all mes or sins with at least 10 in deadly with dmg, eg finish empathy if dom, or fragility if illusion, using arcane mimicry on the dedicated AP monk.

Set up a pug like this a while ago after the ursan nerf. Worked fine, with about 5 sec downtime average between ursans, and between them u did fair dmg with cry of pain finish him.

Cleared first city in same time as previous ursan groups.

Main prob is getting a group together, we eneded up with 2/5 ursan having low Lb and norn ranks R1 and R2, also the monk left halfway through 2nd area as they didnt think the build would work.

The AP monk isnt too bad either, with AP he can spam seed of life and in effect he can outmonk the other two monks.

ele cryers, with glyph of sacrifice for meteor shower might work well too. since when ever you go out of ursan, you have full energy and skills recharge except for the ursan skills.

sounds good, but cryway is still going to be faster and everything. are have just taken 2 great runs and merged them to make a bit of a mess. no doubt it works, but cant be as fast as a perma tank + cryers. this could be of some use when they finally nerf cryway
wouldnt mind trying the run out tbh, interesting to see what they new build going around are

pm me IG if u are forming a group up or something.

As of right now you are not in SCAR.

1. SCAR does DoA already in atm 1:30.
2. SCAR doesn't use Ursan.
3. Usran is dead, Stop making up fail build that have to do with Usran with Oathshot, AP etc. learn to play the game.
4. We in SCAR don't think of ourselves as Leet or Elitest we are a big bunch of people that have been playing this game for 2-3+ years and have accomplished all the High-End areas as well as record clears on some dungeons etc.
5.TAM is a very exp. Guild whether they like Cry of Pain or not its none of anyone business. If they chose to play the game with physicals or other builds that require a bit more thought than pressing 1-2-3 then so be it. Anyone that disagrees, trolls, etc because of this and they and they dont like it because it has Cry of Pain in it can are just sad because they are inferior and can't actual play the game with out using a gimmick, same goes with PvP and all the cheap gimmick Flavor of the month shit.

It's nothing new. Teams on US districts are doing whole DoA using ursans and it still works, although its much slower due to the need of recharge. About a week ago i tried the ursan/cry builds with my guildies in the Torc'qua city, and it was fast and easy. Using ursan or not is considered by many players to be the no1 problem here. If someone can complete DoA this way or using Ether Cryway, it's doesn't really matter for me. It's the result that counts. Personally, I'd like to check how roj + cry work in DoA.

Screen shot or it didn't happen.

There are many ways to do doa. I don't care what your preferences are, have it your way.
I like the way my teams have been doing it and I will just leave it at that.

Oh Noes, Scar to the rescue!

(lighten up guys, seriously)

lawl

But on a more serious note, at the OP, if you're striving to run DoA the fastest way possible (assuming what you wrote in the first line of your post is true) then you should read a cryway guide and teach ur team. If somehow you find a faster way, then good for you: goal achieved.

This IS a game. I don't know why fallen got so worked up about it; let those who enjoy ursan use it if they so choose. You say you don't consider yourselves elitists, yet you call other players inferior a few words afterward. Make up ur mind.

I don't see this concept becoming the norm for DoA SC teams, but good try nonetheless. At least it was somewhat fresh.

Ursan died, Ursan got 'resurrected', I guess if you can't live without it you can create coy builds, But seriously though, if you want to make a Hybrid Cry/Ursan, Just use 1 tank instead and go full cry, way faster, no need to worry about retarded monks that can't cast a seed, nor bears who think they are invincible and storm ahead. Let it be, the skill is utter garbage now ......

Ursan=slow, boring, slightly retarded, and really uncoordinated. Kinda like Phil (he knows who he is :P)

Cryway=a well coordinated machine-like build that is more effective than anything out there because of precision spikes and huge numbers. Now why would you want to load up a Hummer H2(ursan) and go suicide in DoA when you can run a well-built Ferrari(cryway) and steamroll through the hardest area in Nightfall.

And if you think it's too hard, it really isn't. Just don't think you're getting 1hr30 on your first HM run. 2hr30+ is fine so everyone can just get the feel for it. We were always content with finishing at 2hr30 when we first started.

Also, don't think that <1hr is unachievable. ANYONE who is experienced in DoA and practices many times with cryway will easily have a chance of finishing in less than an hour.

Just my opinion: Do what you like best. Some leave UB and cryway altogether and go for the 600/smite and charge people $$$ to run it (just a thought).

BTW: whysosrs gaiz? Nobody's to blame for the revival of ursan. It just refuses to die lol
