There is no point in buying an extra piece, you can beat it using the normal ones and save yourself a bundle. I could not do it at first but then found this strategy guide, and apart from one or two occasions where I had to try again I breezed through.

The guides is the bottm part of this page.

It's seriously just a glorified version of pokemon. Most of the people you play against use the same order everytime when they set out polymock pieces, you just have to think ahead and use your 'rocks' to the opponnent's 'scissors'.

The above linked wiki article lays it out really well.

I disagree. I tried this approach with Kappa, Skale, and Gargoyle against Blarp. I ALMOST Beat him. Then I tried with Ice Elemental (which I bought for 3K), Kappa and Gargoyle, and I finished with over 1,000hp. This is the BEST way to do it. When a skill recharges USE IT *IMMEDIATELY*. And only use your 2-second-cast spell ONCE, just after the match begins. UNLESS you have Ice Elemental which gives +1000hp for 30 seconds, in which case use it whenever u have the chance.

Polymock sometimes depends on luck. But it also depends on the pieces you use. Practice makes perfect. Just keep trying basically.

I had the same luck. Start the match with big spell, push block, concentration, 2nd big spell, spam 1 like there's no tomorrow, cast block on recharge, try to interrupt opponent's big spell.

EDIT: Went from Blarp through Hoff with only one loss to Hoff due to a weird bug that only gave my last piece 10 energy.

I used a Mirage Iboga, Fire Elemental, and Skale. Honestly, I don't ever try to interrupt. I just spam my attacks and shield as they recharge. I never use the glyph of concentration. And yes, I'm not sure the 2 second spell is worth bothering with except at the very beginning. It always seems to be interrupted.

I've tried so many guides on how to defeat Blarp and after my best attempt of getting his 3rd piece down to 1/8ths of its health it hit me for 600 damage just after I blocked some 800/850 hit so I just give up attempting with my nub pieces so i'm just going to buy myself some golds and defeat him.

Yes it's costly but I got to the point of wanting to throw my computer out the window with how frustrating it was.

To be honest I think it's just luck, trying to interupt them only wastes time and you only have, what, a second in which to react? I'm not superman lol, and not to mention the fact they usually have 2 or 3 interupts (and we know we can't block all 3)

So i'm having to get myself a gold piece (or 2 or 3) for the extra hp and spammable attacks. I don't usually have to revert to paying to get things done but this minigame is like tossing a coin and hoping it lands on the one you want, you either have to keep trying or just get more coins LOL

Edit: just defeated rounds 3, 4 and 5 with the ruby djinn polymock piece I bought =D got myself the summon djinn now, dunno if I wanna go for others but I might who knows.

I tried using the guide long ago and just gave up. Not lucky enough I guess.

So using the ruby djinn really works? Every time I had it drop for me I just sold it, maybe the next time it drops, I'll try it out and see
