Vanquishing Magus Stones
I tried it with my Monk and Discordway. Piece of cake until I ran into these 3 groups of spiders East - North East of Arachni's Haunt. Impossible to get through with those multiple Lifeweavers. Any suggestions?

Magus Stones is one of my favorite places to vanquish and I haven't had any issues with any of the groups. I play an interrupt ranger though, and I'm busy dazing and spreading choking gas and interrupting so the life weavers don't get much of a chance.

As mentioned, any type of interrupts, especially AoE interrupts [Cry of Frustration] [Tease] [Choking Gas] etc... are all handy. Try to include a few on your bar or heroes' bars, and I can guarantee the run will go smoother.

I farmed Magus stones alot for points.
quickest way is to "borrow heros"
2 monks. 2 MM's the rest as nukers.= win.

I had no interrupts or daze when I did it so it can be done just get a little more creative. I also did it discordway. I would target one lifeweaver and while the H/H were attacking that one I would tab to another lifeweaver and start spamming away, the basic idea is to make them have to heal 2 at the same time instead of just one. Worked pretty well, the heroes killed the first one then I had them target the one I was fighting, once again I tabbed to the last one and repeated the process. It's not the prettiest or most efficient but it did work.
I also had [you move like a dwarf] on my bar, helps alot with monks. Not sure if you can pull them one by one out of there but I assume you have already tried that, if not then give it a shot.

Aren't they pop up groups that can be avoided completely while vanquishing? If not then nevermind, it's been awhile since I have been through there.

Yeah, there are some pop up groups you can avoid, but I think the lifeweavers are just sitting there and when you approach them you get the other spider pop ups as well. Makes that little area annoying.

Maybe your build does not have enough focus fire or damage output. They use [[Divert Hexes] so that's probably why your [[Discord (PvE)] spam isn't working.

thanks for your suggestions. I dropped one necro for Gwen as interrupter and got it done. I also took Ebon Sniper Support which, with Assassin's Promise recharging all skills instantly after each kill, can be pretty powerful.

I vanquished Magus Stones this afternoon with my Paragon, Sabway Necros, Mhenlo, Lina, Herta, and Talon Silverwing. The Windriders were a minor annoyance, but for the rest I just berserked along. Cast Great Dwarf Armor on whoever seemed to need it (which wasn't often), and used Technobabble on healers.
You are right tval, just overload 'em.
Biggest problem I had with the vanquish was finding this last group of drop in spiders who turned out to be in a little dead end niche.
