Default Vanquishing (I'm Stuck)

Ok well i've vanquished 5/64 areas so far i just started recently so bear with me i used sabway it helps alot more than i thought lol i dont have the weapon sets for them persay yet because factions runs slow on my computer and i havent been able to get those drops for the collector weapons for the Necros anyway i got stuck vanquishing the Eastern Frontier twice i've been able to kill EVERYTHING in this area twice except when i hit the groups of grawl with the healers i cant seem to kill them =/ by the time i actually get to them my minions are all dead and even when i had a few it was very difficult to cover killing 2 Monks healing ea other.

I was thinking of running a more interuption build on my ranger but not sure should i just throw in D shot and Savage shot or should i throw in Magebane or BHA also?

BHA is strong when doing HM as a ranger.

Yea but thinking about it if i dont have minions at the time i fight these healers and meleers groups usually in groups of 2 melee 2 healers or 1 healer and 2 melee the ones with the 2 healers are the problem cuz i can daze 1 but cant int them enuf to stop them from being healed by the 2nd healer =/ so in the end theres still a problem

I hiked from toa, they fell like dominoes via vor and deep wound spam, but i suggest you try maybe lingering curse. From what i've heard, it's pretty hard to beat them using discordway or sabway.

according to your info, you are a Ranger. As such, run BHA on yourself and sabway *if you wish* on your heroes.

Try Discordway. i use to run sabway a lot but now i am running discordway espeically when there is a monk boss in the area makes lot easier to take them down as long as you put a hex and condition on for faster results. i use my sin and sharpen daggers with asuran scan so i have my hex and conditions incase the heros dont place them on soon enough

What you need is some nice necro skills: Defile Flesh, Envenom / Rip Enchantments, Reckless Haste, Weaken Armor, Enfeebling Blood.

Default eastern frontier vanquish in HM

Hi

When i did it, as a ranger, i ran apply poison, broadhead arrow(elite), distracting shot, savage shot, paininverter, ebon vanguard assasin support, epidemic, and rez, also, it about pulling, flag your heroes about 1 aggro circle away from, hit apply poison, broadhead and epidemic, and watch the poiosn and daze spread thru out, then just send in the ebon vanguard assasin support and finish up, with your arrows, also put scourge healing on your monks build to diminish the healing benefit the monks get from there healing skills.

Pulling and separating groups is essential in 4 man areas, if Subway don`t work go for Discordway (much better spike) !

I honestly Suggest taking a Friend from Toa.. Or even yaks bend.. the extra firepower helps. i suggest an ele.

Maybe.. If you ran BHA. or Magebane.. And took.. you move like a dwarf.. while you ele uses metero shower on the other monk.. and if your friend took it too .. and combo'd it.. should be easy.

There is no point in wasting time and starting from ToA when the map can be done with a team of four. All you need to do is have the skills to counter the Grawl's healing and attacks, pull carefully and start with the Grawl. Leaving them for the end can prove disastrous.

instead of running the standard sabway put skills like [defile flesh] and [scourge healing] both of these skills reduce healing potential and don't take up your elite slot like [lingering curse] does. also [broad head arrow]+[epidemic] is win! both Monks dazed, healing is reduced, your party should be able to finish them off.

P.S as a Ranger never leave home without [distracting shot]!!!

Adjacent, as in, next to each other. That's where the careful pulling comes in.

in Proph you will be running into a lot of 2+ healer groups especially when you get into the shiverpeaks vanq's...I vanq'ed all with my ranger and what I found really helped in taking down multiple healer groups was [Ebon Vanguard Sniper Support]. This skill also rocks in the charr (eastern frontier) areas. I switched [Ebon Vanguard Sniper Support] with [Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support] in certain areas. Otherwise my bar always looked like: [Pain Inverter][Ebon Vanguard Sniper Support][Broad Head Arrow][Savage Shot][Distracting Shot][Needling Shot][Finish Him!][Flesh of My Flesh]...I used a standard Sabway and never made any changes - 99% of all vanquishes were done with H/H. Pulling, flagging heros, pinging targets (for h/h to attack) and using corners will come in handy. Some caravaning will come in handy, such as Henge of Devrai to The Wilds (or from ToA to The Wilds), and there are some troublesome multiple healer spots like I said, but hit up the forums for tips and tricks...and always do your research before heading out (wiki ftw) GL and HtH
