Yeah it still works, its just that they don't always pop up. It's luck based, sometimes you get them sometimes you don't.

If they don't pop up, just restart.

And thanks for the run again

yeah, it's pretty annoying, usually u can pull the boss. if that doesn't work, just bad luck. stay persistant, u'll get over eventually ;-)

There are two spawning spots for the bosses, one in range and one outside range.
Besides that, the warrior boss is hard to pull and kill in the right spot because he can't attack you. So you might need a number of attempts to get a good spawn (more than 5 if you have bad luck).
Then there are the Jade Scarabs, those rarely spawn in range. I've seen one in range less than 1/10 and I've been there a lot to explore myself or to help guildies exploring.

Last time I did the NC trick was about 2-3 weeks ago with two guildies.

All I can say is that the spawn rate for scarabs is better than the spawn rate for a piggy in the right place in Aurora Glade - I've never had the little bugger spawn there once. Oh, except for the one time when I wasn't carrying [[Necrotic traversal] of course.

For me..the piggy spawned right after i had completed bonus with normal way after i had lost faith for the piggy spawning at all :P

for the OP..yea you just need luck..try to "scrape" the edges of the wall you can to found the pops..then use bow etc for luring them and be ready to spike them down since they tend to wander too far away.

.

Even if a scarab doesn't spawn there is a chance to pull the group near the rear gate. The warrior won't pull but the Forgotten boss, with pals, will. Kill them near the same place you hope for a scarab and 3 players can get over at once.

There is also a chance to take out the Siege worms, ray of judgement kills them fast. This has to be done in quick runs, always going back to 'save' the Glostly Hero. After the last group you have 2-3 minutes to run out and kill the 2-3 groups left. I've forgotten [necrotic travel]and pulled the first group to kill them which leave only the 2 groups in the compound to kill. They are killable in 2-3 minutes...bring the slow Totem and drop it near the center, pull the group on the right, when dead, pull the left side group ( youmay want to quickly move the Totem closer to them).
