Default Arachi's Haunt - 600 smite? and?

hey guys

any tips out here to do this dungeon?

to do 600 smite this

should i use the famine DOA style? QZ?

There are a variety of ways you can do this with a 600.

However, if you are used to DOA with 600/Famine combo, then take a 600/Smite/QZ combo. Will get you through well enough, just be careful of the aggro and darts - it can be a pain in the proverbials.

The main problem for a 600 in this dungeon is the bloodweavers. They use two skills that will really mess up trying to 600 The first one is [anthem of disruption] which you would think that [mantra of resolve] would take care of however this is where they use [wild throw] to end [mantra of resolve]

I recently did it with my 600 and was able to do it. It sucked and took forever, mainly because it was my first time and I wasn't sure exactly what extra skill to take. Got my butt handed to me with the ooze at the beginning because I didn't take Pyre with me, would have been nice to keep spell breaker up the whole time because as soon as it would end the Ominous ooze would cast [Wail of Doom] which = almost instant death. So yes QZ would be highly advised for this dungeon.

I ran the standard 600 skill bar which typically leaves two skills that you can take, I took [mantra of resolve] and ["I Am Unstoppable!"]. I didn't really need IAU in the dungeon but if you don't have a runner to get you to the dungeon then the heket along the way could cause you some problems due to [Ehzah from Above]. The next time I will probably try MOR & [Sympathetic Visage] or [Ancestor's Visage] to try and keep the bloodweavers from using there skills, still not sure this will work.

I can be done, just expect it to take a while on your first try. Also the little asura guys that are supposed to help can really screw you up. Next time I will have a QZ hero with me, that may make all the difference.

I don't see the visages working on the Bloodweavers. Virtually all the attacks in Arachni's are ranged, while the visages only trigger on melee attacks.

Glad I didn't try the dungeon again with a visage on the bar. Completely overlooked that little nugget. Thx.

You may try [Soothing Images] on the bloodweavers. Or if your using a [famine] setup then perhaps [Spirit Shackles] would work well. Then again I'm sure the lifeweavers will just pull the hex off which makes both hexes kinda useless.

Maybe [ebon vanguard assassin support] would help, but then again not entirely sure.

If you can get past the ooze in the first part of the dungeon then you may be able to perma the rest. Have you tried that?

Also there are very few people in Doomlore running this dungeon. I've seen a guy in there spamming "LFR Arachni's" for over 3hrs, so good luck with finding a runner.

I would be willing to do the dungeon with you. I will 600 and you can perma. Sould not be too big of a problem.
