Default destruction's depths- need help

how are you supposed to kill the disc of chaos at the end?

and whats the best way to do the fight where you have to beat the waves of destroyers with the norn?

People say to bring heroes like a bha interrupter or a tease Mesmer. I didnt and i beat it fine on nm and hm. I went with a standard jagged bones mm bomber, a healer nec, and a special build of mine which is signet of judgement, divine boon, smiters boon, and other skills on a monk hero. Then i took mhenlo and cynn and i think aiden and one other. I was using Imbagon, so if you are not a para then take whatsherface for prot and go as damage. For the whole thing I had 1 golem on ranged and 2 on defense, but for the disc i set it to 1 melee two defense. On the part with the norn, stand on the little bridge thats there and you should do fine.

Daze it. Protective spirit helps greatly if it does get to hit people.

Stand on the side and let the norn die. Pull the destroyers one group at a time with a bow.

what he said but. For the norn, pull them away from the rez shrine if you can. use the golems on melee and defensive. Summoning stones=<3. Degen is good on the disc. Kill the disc last or if you can get it to a good spot. keep a tank on the disc and have everybody widdle it down.

I did dd on my para and everybody left at the norn. We killed em one by one and eventually got 5-8 at a time, we had lots of clovers as it was St. Pats. We killed the disc by having a really good ranger pull mobs and we killed them fast with degen and aoe. The disc was pulled into a corner with the tank who had some skill setup with 1000+ or so hp. Degen and constant attacks is all I can say. Keep the tank healed.

Flag your H/H just away from the steps. Use longbow to pull the DISC on its onw until its walks up the steps. Use only one Melee henchie or yourself to avoid AOE damage. Set the GOLEM to defensive or range depend on your comfort. Avoid setting GOLEMs to melee as they tend to aggor others in the area and receive AOE damage that your healers could not keep up. Take your time to kill the DISC. It takes slightly longer in HM. No con sets or morale boost cookies required. This works all the time when I did the HM books farming with H/H.

Its not easy, but it is possible to block the stairs with "dead" golems, i cant remember how but I did it several times when farming books with my ranger.

Once hes blocked, just wail on him from range till he drops.

Step 1: have a healer and prot
Step 2: Prot frontline, heal damage from tanks
Step 3: Prot an ele to rez golems
Step 4: ???????
Step 5: WIN

That's the easiest way to do it, you can do it other ways like suggested above.. I did it with just 5 people with me as the only healer. Had 3 discordway necros with spoil victor, SS and a MM and a rit spirit spammer (which kicked major ass). 1 person DC'ed as soon as we started, but the time we got to 3rd room one person had to go. As soon as we aggro's boss one guy DC'ed to. If I could do it with wiping once, so can you.

RULE 1: Thoughts goes first, the are the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing bitches of the destroyers. They remove prots but they do no damage, they are just there to make it harder.
RULE 2: When aggroing disk 2 thoughts from back room (which is unreachable without aggroing) will come support the disk. Proving my point they are just there to make it harder.
RULE 3: Protective Spirit, no PvE protter should be caught dead without it. Ironically, you can catch it dead. A PvE protter without protective spirit is a hundred blades warrior without a sword, just doesn't work.
RULE 4: Golems > Destroyers. Keep these no DP, instant rez, armor ignoring damage things alive.
RULE 5: Obey rules 1, 2, 3, and 4.
RULE 6: Obey rule 5.

PM me in game, I'll help you with this quest which is oddly the hardest part of the entire storyline. (Sorry the great destroyer, I can hero and hench you with no problem.)

When I fought it as a War, I just perma KDed it with my Godmode bar. It got pretty much no skills off at all.

I usally set golems to melle after killing all the other destroyers in central chamber so they can tank the DISK without any trouble

I just love those golems
