Default Choosing a side- can you change your mind?

I've got a question I'm hoping people more experienced than I can answer.

I'm playing an Assassin who's at the choose point between Luxon and Kurzick (the "Journey to House zu Heltzer/Journey to Cavalon" and then followup bit.) My Guild wants to go Luxon, and I agree with them. However, I want to cap Moebius Strike, which I see is available in the Eternal Grove area, which means Kurzicks. I also happen to be the Guild Leader.

How do I reconcile this? Can I personally help the Kurzicks, but later switch to the Luxons? Can I set my Guild to align with the Luxons, even though I'm accumulating Kurzick fashion? Or will that mess it up? If need be, I can give one of my guildmates Leader spot until I'm done being a Kurzick.

It doesn't matter whom your alligned too, you will still be able to do quests for both sides. But if you have more Kurzick than Luxon faction, the Luxon guys will turn you away when you speak to them (for exampe armor crafteres and merchants)

Only place it really matters is in Alliance Battles which is 12 Kurzicks vs 12 Luxons pvp.

And it's called FACTION not FASHION

You can set your guild up as Luxon. Then u can farm quests to get your kurz faction to 10k to continue storyline, theres no prob with that. Just watch out though that if you use any Luxon points eg Alliance increase or PvE skill or whatever, u will lose all your Kurz faction.

I find Kurzick faction is easier to HFFF (don't flame, it's my opinion), so going Luxon with your guild is fine, really the PvP and PvE parts don't relate except for getting faction through AB.

Your guild's faction can be changed easily at any time.

I just finished Befriending the Kurzicks and got up through Defenders of the Forest, which brings me to Eternal Grove, so I switched (assisted by my own GW guru) to the Luxon track. My character is in Cavalon right now. No muss, no fuss. Do make sure you expend all your Kurzick points, or as many as you can, before you begin collecting Luxon faction (as previously noted in this thread); once you start spending Luxon faction, you lose whatever Kurzick you have left so you will need to start over again if you want to continue with the Kurzicks once you're done with the Luxon quest series.

I've always been Kurzick... almost to use the phrase "hardcore" toward Kurzick.

When it comes to AB: Luxons win more often. Whether it being the fact that Ancestral Lands can be won by Luxons more easily now (stay on that bridge) or the fact Kaanai Canyon is almost impossible to win by Kurzicks, Luxons are doing something right.

Then again, this is my opinion and my own personal view from what I've seen. I'll always be a Kurzick at heart.

The reason most guilds, even high end ones, are kurzick is because they FFF. and the luxon version of FFF is rubish compared

I'm trying to get the moa chick... and can't get to the eternal grove... a kurzick guild sent me an invite so I tried to do some AB.. but I do nothing but losing... (hooray for Luxon!) but neither can I get to lutgardis conservatory for securing echovald forest... Help please!

walk outside on either side, talk to the priest and get a blessing, go around and kill stuff. Or do the quests and rack up the faction. To get to eternal grove you need to do Befriending the Kurzicks.

Default Mistaken allegiance

I mistakenly swore my allegiance to the Luxon Faction. Is there any way I can change my allegiance?

Yes - go swear your allegiance to the Kurzick Faction.

The only way to be neutral is to have Zero points in both kurzick and Luxon

Otherwwise whatever is the highest displayed is what you will be affliliated to in respect
of armour merchants ect....nomatter what your guild is in
