I would like to ask You for help how to win in The Norn Fighting Tournament?

I have problems with my warrior but i think that this thread would be wide open for any suggstions for all others professions.

Please write here any advises you can. Which skills or build can use by all professions to win it?

I think that pretty much any Solo spike build would work... You just have to hit them fast and hard, before they get to do anything. Worked for me in the preview, altough I got owned by Magni several times when I didn't manage to interrupt his Bear Form.

I don't know Warrior builds, but this one looks easy enough and has a good DPS. Might want to ask over in the Warrior forum for solo HIgh DPS builds.

You'll be able to beat everyone but Eve and another. Bison is very easy with this, you can do it without taking damage.

Greetings,

Well, I've tried a few times in this arena, and I must say that I am stumped. I can't seem to beat the first opponent, much less win the whole tournament. I've tried the Spirit Bond build as posted on PvXwiki, as well as a Mo/Ne build using blood magic degen. Anyone got some suggestions as to what a monk primary can use in this tournament (and don't suggest a 55 build, I don't have the money for one).

I have made small modification to this warrior build:

And it works but only to 4 round. I was playing almost 2 hours. First three round are ease no matter who will be the oponent.
4 round is luck: if Eve - i am dead if Dervish - i win with him only once.

And only once throug 2 hours i have been i 5 round but there i died in 5-7 seconds.

On a W/N take dolyak, riposte, deadly riposte, grenths Balance, endure pain, heal sig, lions comfort, and bonetti's defense...there is only one opponent I have not beat with this build. I would guess a ranger would be easy as a touch ranger? If not make a build around GB and try it, works good on warrior

This one is 50/50. Drop the spirits in the doorway, you'll need to use a recurve bow to distract bearform and a staff to swap to for painful bond. OgglcZYTWCyi38Yu1zGUT18be22c

I'm going to suggest it anyway, as I find it difficult to believe you don't have ~5k (at absolute maximum). 15AL armor is incredibly cheap, and the superior runes have dropped considerably--none are over 1k. The -50 cesta isn't necessary at all.

55ing (or 105ing as the case may be) with Spoil Victor allows you to kill anyone in the tournament with ease.

Yea, it seems like casters might have an easier time with this. Anyone have suggestions for a paragon. I have tried quite a few time, but I am tired of wasting money, so I figured I would ask for help.

Same here.. I must have reached Bison a dozen times, only to die within a few seconds. Wild Blow just destroys all ranger blocking stances, and dirt only lasts around 12 seconds at most, when that runs out he kills me within a few seconds. None of the other opponents gave me any trouble at all.

Edit: As far as I know a toucher build simply does not work as he just does too much damage too fast. I certainly could not kill him this way.

With an interrupt, a warrior can easily beat Mhenlo.

Warrior and use grenths balance, some riposte, and ebon assassin =D, also for mhenlo you have to get hit for heavy damage and then use grenths, i used at 13hp, then I used the pve skill Finish Him! to seal the deal =D

This is what I used on the preview.

Here goes, I used R/Rt, I dont even remember the exact att points but I had,
Burning arrow, throw dirt, 1 defence stance, 4rt spirits (Displacement, Pain, Shadowsong, Shelter) last slot is FW.

Step in the arena and summon the spirits, in this formation so displace & shelter would be in front of pain & shadow, fw can go anywhere even in the starting bit. I also used flatbow & + 20 ng staff. Start the fight with burning arrow let the enemy come to you, keep the arrow firing, by the time they get to you the fight will be over. This worked on everyone BUT not Alesia! lol Of all people I just couldn't beat her.

A bit tricky to used on M. Bison, same tactic at the start, I didnt even stop his bear form. When he head toward you, move out of his way, he'll bash on the spirits but Displacement & Shadowsong will block & blind him. Keep an eye out for when the spirits die, though. Summon them again fast, use throw dirt or stance if he coming for you. Keep hitting him with burning arrow, and keep the spirits up, shadowsong is the most important one, keep moving as well. He'll go down fast.

I got a Bison cup and 15 tokens from this build, lol shouldn't even call it a build. The trick is if he cant see you, then he cant hit you.

I share your feelings on that one, although with me, I tried using the R/A dagger approach. Eles are quite a pain with this build--even Headmaster Vhang nearly took my ranger out. I think the Deldrimor skill, "You Move Like a Dwarf!", can work in disrupting Bison's Bear Form, then just turn on Lightning Reflexes or Escape, and wail away. I haven't tried it myself, but did learn from getting to him and getting whooped when he went into Bear Form.

Try Ebon Dust Aura,Vital boon or another ench to use as a cover and Pious Restoration.
not the most roiginal build,but i tried it with my derv and found it worked very well, give it a go on your wammo and has anyone tried a EDA ranger?

I have tested this build and it is good working. But I have only 3 problems with it:
1. Oponent sometimes are taking away my hexes too fast
2. Adrenaline skill are loading too slow
3. With this build it is really easy to get to Magni Bison but i cant win with him.

I am so close to win tournament.

Tell me what am I doing wrong.

There aren't any hexes in the build???

To beat bison, just use riposte and deadly riposte once each, then let them both charge back up. When he gets you to ~50hp, hit grenths, riposte deadly riposte, gash and final thrust in quick succession. Doing this twice should be enough to kill him, but if not, hit endure and auto attack the last bit of his hp away. Look for some sskai farming videos to see how its done. Using an elemental sword helps alot too.

I tried your build and it worked! I finally beat M. Bison, twice. Take a bit getting use to, take me about 5 times to beat him.
