Default Ring of Fire Mission Help needed...

So I have a level 20 E/Mo trying this mission. She is mostly a burn elementalist, focusing on DoT and direct damage spells. She has access to a small selection of heros... Mostly the 2 monks, the warrior, the dervish, Mox, and the ranger from Nightfall.

All that said, I just seem to be unable to get past this mission. Generally, I get as far as the main gate and get killed. At the main gate, there's at least 3 sets of those annoying Ether Seals. I can take out the 1st 2 and the 2nd set that act as the door. I usually die trying to get to the 3rd set. Even if I clear out most of the enemies near the 3 set, I just can't take out the 3rd set without being killed. I've tried the back path, hoping to loop around so i can still grab the bonus, but usually die that way also.

Any suggested hero builds, tips on pulling, henchmen choices, or help at all would be greatly appriciated. I'd like to get this character through prophecies so i can try hard mode and have at least one campaign done, but this seems to be my stumbling block right now. Thanks.

For the third pair of seals, I find it best to run past them to the clear area on the north side. Kill any Mursaat and Jade in that area. Then you can attack the north seal from there instead of being caught between them.

If you have a ranger hero, give her a long bow. It's slow, but a ranger with a long bow can take out an ether seal from outside its ward, so your party can stand in a nice, safe area and let the ranger do the work.

Martial characters have an easier time dealing with the seals than casters, so you could also just send in a warrior or dervish to do the honors. Running in, casting a DoT spell, and running out can be useful, too. Maelstrom is very nice to help shut down a seal, even at zero in water magic.

If you're using a monk hero for healing or protting, make sure the hero is flagged out of the range of the seal, but still close enough to heal your party.

Keeping a monk outside of the seal range to cast partywide heals is very important in this mission.

Careful pulling to get the seals alone and then just focus fire on them. You have to be aware that the two seal inside the gate need to be targeted from inside the guardhouse. If you stand on the stairs your view is obstructed and you do little or no damage and it allows some of the other patrols to come at you while engaged. I like to do the right hand side seal first by running in and attacking it from the side . Then pull the remaining patrols to you and finish off the other seal. Once past that it is easy. If doing the bonus watch for the Eilodeon (sp?) to spawn right inside the door between the two seals. He can really screw suff up if you are not prepared.

I prefer straight up melee on this mission.

When you get to the guardhouse, pull everything outside of the field with a longbow and kill them.

Then attack one side, then the other, then open the guardhouse.

Pull everything you can to the stairs and kill.

Then flag everything passed the right seal to the cove next to the stairs.

Kill anything that you will inevitably aggro.

Kill right seal, then left, finish mission.

Bring your warrior hero running battle rage bar or something.
Bring a heal monk, a prot monk, mhenlo, cynn, and warrior guys.

I was also having trouble with this mission at first and I also play a fire elementalist. I switched to ice for this mission and it helped a lot. I just made something up from looking at skills so I'm not even sure if it's a good build, but I managed to beat the mission with it: water attunement, glyph of lesser energy, blurred vision, freezing gust, ice spikes, shatterstone, vapor blade, mantra of resolve

Anyway, just be sure to pull enemies when you can and avoid fighting on the terrain that will inflict burning upon you.
