Default The Eternal Grove, Gyala Hatchery (HM, Heros)

Hi,
I'm doing a guide to finish all Missions in Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall with master reward and only using henchmen and heros. I know, that this is not the way GW is ment to play but it shoud help people if nobody is there to help on a mission.

Prophecies and Nightfall are done. Factions seems to bit a little tricky because of two missions mentioned in the titel.

Has anybody done this missions with henchmen an heros so far? And if so, are there any good advices on that missions to get the master reward?

thx

ps.: sorry for my poor english, i'm from austria

Gyala hatchery there is an easier way of doing it by going around the back and spawning all the kurzicks before the group of turtles start moving forward. This allows you to kill most of the mobs beforehand and making it a safer trip once the turtles start moving

The picture at the top shows the path to take by going the back way.

And here is a link explaining how to do eternal grove HM ( i haven't done it myself following that post, but by reading the comments, it seems to work )

THX.
I did Gyala Hatchery twice yesterday and failed because i've overlooked some groups (i did it the easy way). But I think its a doable mission :-)

thx again for the link. If somebody did it with h/h then its doable. It does not matter how hard - as long as it can be done :-)

I've done Eternal Grove with H&H a few times, I don't understand what all the fuss about it being so difficult is about, I've come across missions that are far more difficult.

I ran a SoS Necro with support skills, and MM, a Xinrae's N/Rt and took warrior, ele and both monk henchmen. On my own bar (R/Rt) I ran a spirit build with both offensive and defensive spirits and I assisted both sides.
The Afflicted attack is the more difficult part, if you are struggling with the Luxons or Turtle, you should read Wiki.

If you want more detail on the strategy I used, send me a PM.

The Question was only to find a description for a good setup because my time is limited and if there is no team-setup I have to build it myself (and yeah I've read the wiki notes in english and german about the missions). I imagine that there are other difficult missions... but i've already done them :-)

but thx for your help!

My reply to the prior thread on Eternal Grove gives the exact builds I have used to complete it in HM with H/H. It also gives a brief explanation of the tactics I have used. While there are certainly other builds/tactics for beating this mission, having done EG so many times with this team config, I know it works.

Eternal Grove - put two spirit spammers on one side, move juggernauts to that side as well. Put one MM and all four henchmen on the other side. Remain mobile and move between both sides. Flag and unflag henchmen as needed to get healing to both sides. Beyond that it's just keep moving the juggernauts, keep moving H/H, and keep running between both sides. This mission is an excellent test of micro, but is very doable (I can basically guarantee Master's these days when I do it).

Gyala Hatchery - screw the back way, do it the front way. It's not only much easier, it's much faster. If you can, roll a defensive healer; otherwise you may have to micro heals on the turtles. Run the kegs and keep running them because the siege turtles deal massive damage. Use MM's; there will be heaps of bodies. Beyond that the mission crumples the same way all the other missions do.
