so ive completed it w hench and heroes.... i dont care about bonus...but after 30 min i decided to light the beacons....still nothing...so i explored the whole back area and killed everything...nothing....now ive been in there for an hour and still nothing...any ideas!?!?!?

***closed by op*** haha just missed 1 group in the corner when i was outside of fort

If you are looking for the bonus in the Thunderhead Keep mission. You need to light both beacons within a few seconds of each other before the waves of Mursatt & Stone Summit start coming in. Once all the waves are done, go kill those that don't come by the gate way, then talk to the king. I have heard that one person can do it with speed boosts but I have never seen anyone actually do it.

you mean solo h/h and light the beacons for bonus?

its very much possible, i did both NM and HM and lit the beacons with no speedboost xD but yes as kzaske stated it has to be within the first few seconds after the cutscene to light the beacons and be able to obtain the bonus at the end.

I concur. I've done it with bonus H/H and didn't need any speed boosts. I skipped the cutscene however so I don't know if that makes any difference.

Acutally lighting the beacons was a bit easier because the mursaat forces aggroed the giants for me and they killed each other

im still stuck there(2 hours now)...i dont care about bonus, just want to move on...ive cleared everything and talked to king....

Time to get the bonus can be tight if you are soloing H/H. A good tip is to flag your H/H at the top of the fort near where the king stands after killing the mobs in that area. Make sure you kill the frost giant mob outside the fort using the catapults before killing the rest of the mobs and boss and triggering the cutscene.

Without the knockdowns from that mob, the beacons can be lit pretty easily solo without speedboosts.

Not a problem without speedboosts, you even have enough time to make errors in your running.

The trick is to not carry the first staff across the compound to the second one. Light the first torch, drop the lighter, then run across empty handed and light the second. There's a fair bit of time to spare that way.
