Curse

Hello, I was trying to do the last part of Slaver's Exile in NM, but it just seemed impossible to kill Duncan with my current hench/hero build. Anyone got any tips on how to kill him? maybe some builds? Thanks.

I've always ran an E/Mo, N/Rt Healer, Panic Mes, SoS rit, SoGM rit, Soul Twist Rit, and I'll run whatever, usually Earthshaker warrior, or dagger sin and bring my 2nd account to leech. Can breeze through most of slavers with no issues as long as you don't over aggro.

I don't know what your running or anything so some info would be nice.

I was running warrior for myself with swap to move the spirits (worked just fine) my 3 heroes where a healer monk, which I think would be best if it's prot, a SV necro and a BHA ranger. Henches where war, 2 monks and ele. Dealing with the dwarfs to get to him was a pain so my build must be bad somewhere starting there :S as for him...simply imposible to do some descent progress.

Well...

*BHA isn't worth running. In Slaver's, it's easy to get all the dwarves bunched up so Panic would be much, much more effective.
*A healer Monk is unnecessary. What you should be doing with heroes is providing unique things that help you specifically or making use of particular skills/combinations. Healer heroes don't provide anything significant that isn't provided by the healer henchies. Drop him for a healer henchie and run something else instead. Perhaps an SoS Rit with Smites or heals.
*SV isn't terribly effective either. SS is better. If you want to run a Curse hero, the best option would be to give it MoP and run 100B yourself. No Curse elite stands out, but Pain of Disenchantment is worth looking at also.

Take a necro with spoil victor and signet of sorrow. when u get to duncan and have finished swapping all the spirits away go and stand next to him urself and let urself die. make sure all heros and hench are flagged well away. next u want to flag ur necro hero close enough so that it can cast sv and signet on duncan. as signet instantly recharges if he is next to a corpse (aka your character) then necro can keep spamming that on him for damage. i then had the hench and other heros flagged further back so that they were only in range of the necro and could cast their heals on him to keep im alive. to make this work well i'd suggest you have a monk hero or /monk hero that has protective spirit so that the necro doesnt die. simply micro manage ps so that it never drops and othrwise just let the guys spam heals on your necro. however make sure that the heros have res skills disactivated and that hench are far enough away that they wont try to run in and res you from next to duncan.

That may work but with what Marty said is much more effective and simple to do. I found my self a SoS Smiter with SoH and judges insight a blast With a panic mes then last hero would be either MoP's curses necro or a Para for damage mitigation or even if you wanted take a SF ele with metor and a bit of curses and my self as a warrior either as D-slasher or 100b but if 100b I would take curses with empathy and MoP's or even Earth shaker
