I'm doing Kilroy. I'm pretty lazy so I don't want to start trying Vaettirs now for fear of dying but if I have to do this again I'll try it out.
Got up to 450k ish from boxing in perhaps 4-6 hours.

Same, but I only did one. Took about 3 hours, and I used scrolls for around 35 runs (a little over half?). Course, I also did a full FoW clear, so I guess I only farmed about 1.25M from Vaettir.

Suffice to say, there are plenty of fast, safe ways to do the title, with Kaths being the fastest and others being comparable depending on speed/scroll usage.

Agreed..I did the same only cost 10k in scrolls and bout 3 hrs..I sold maybe 50k+ in unidents and got 71 glacial stones, 14 mesmer tomes, 3 white dyes....so all in all a title well worth it.

HM.

If you struggle with it in HM, you can do it in NM but it will take much longer.

Been clearing the FoW. Takes a bit over 2 hours in NM and I am getting about 130,000 XP per clear plus the end chest rewards. Just going to do 2 or 3 runs a day until I get the title.

The great thing is that if you are careful there is very little risk. I have D/C'd twice and come back with everything okay. I just take 2 Mezmers, 3 Necros and 2 Ritualists. Just don't over agro and clear everything. About 4 more runs and I will be done. I was soloing UW before this and that was just to dangerous.

So far I have net, 3 sapphires, 1 ruby, 20+ obsidian shards and more golds than I can remember. All in 5 runs.

I guess doing only the first few quests would be faster but I like opening the end chest.

I've been messing around with a few methods for getting this safely and quickly, and the best thing I've stumbled across so far is definitely HM Vaettir farming (I'm a monk).

My template is this:

OwcU4SI6rPT8I6MHQsiEQZRQEyDA

I'm using blessed insignias on all my armour, a 9% HSR and 20% ench sword, and a shield with the "Like a Rolling Stone" inscription.

In just under 2 hours I got Indomitable Survivor, but it's a fairly steep learning curve learning to farm it if you've never done any sort of farming before. I died loads to begin with while I was tinkering with various skills and mods but once you get the hang of it it's fairly safe!

UW is easy for me just farming, but can't do all the quests. I find that FOW is way easier. 4H in UW will destory you.

Vaettir are one of the most profitable and safe way to farm exp imo.
Also can be done on multiple profs: Ele, Sin, Monk can easily solo them, and with a bonder even a War can farm exp(i'm doing it on my Mes atm).

I've tried farming them as 55 monk but a glitch kills me after a few runs.

HM Wurms with scrolls are easy, fast and - what is most important - ping and dc safe. You can have survivor within day if you use Scroll of Rampager's Insight (or Berserker if they ever stop from being sold out).

I was completing the Survivor title in the last 3-4 days, farming Fronis Irontoe lair, and about only THREE HM RUNS TO END I was DISCONNECTED.

It wasn't my computer, the application didn't stop running.
It wasn't my adsl line, I was able to browse in the background.

Now the title resetted. I had about 1.271.000 experience points and now I have to restart from zero. I'm worth of the title, but I have to start over again...
