Default Increasing Wonderland Speeds

Hi I didn't see a thread started about this yet. But I am looking at the top Wonderlands speeds (without cons)

Ideas and topics to talk about

Warriors Shouts vs Jack Frost

8/0 vs 4/4 vs 3/5.

Advance Snow ball vs Mega Snow ball

My own 2 cents about the last one: Everyone tells me using 2 lowers dps. I fail to see this as even if it takes up 3 castings of #1, #2 outperforms it.

On a Beacon:

3 snowballs = 1 1/2 second of total casting( no delay) doing 90dmg
1 Mega snowball = 1sec cast +1/4 sec delay (1 1/4sec total) doing 105 damage

Damage ratio: 2 mega snowballs is equivalent to 7 snowball hits.

Conclusion: Mega snowball is slightly faster while doing 3.5x the amount of damage. Therefore being better.

Please don't post unless you have some data, or logical explanation.

"Let's Get 'Em!" shout isn't much because Yuletide provides 25% IMS, so the shout boosts IMS only by 8% for 5 sec.
Jack Frost deals only 5 damage to beacon because of 45 damage reduction.
So those 2 profs aren't so great as last year.

However assassins with their Side Step are very useful as tanks for Melandru's (Grenth) group in 4/4 or 3/5 splits.

Regular PuGs can do it in 1:30.

I currently have a record of 1:34 with 4/4 being our tactics at that time.
8/0 is slow, safe, and boring. I can admit I'm part of the reason why it's become so popular because I taught this method within the first hour of Wintersday's start, unaware splits could work (our split failed ).
5/3 to 4/4 is a hard comparison, so I won't say much on it.

I hear a rumor around that 1:26 is the record, but not sure where/if it's posted.

Undead is correct in saying 1->1->1->2 has higher DPS than just 1 on strictly the beacon. Also Wars are still the best class, because they're able to do 1->-1->1->2->2, and thus get 2 casts of Mega Snowball in and effectively deal nearly 2x more damage than any other class in the same time span (snowball airtime means NOTHING in terms of dps, only when your about to kill the beacon and where it might be wasted).

I'm uncertain on Ritualists.

As for playing it safe, Sins are easily the best, followed by Monks in terms of having the best survivability (also can solo Champions the easiest). So +1 to these professions if you have a newb/noobie PUG

One thing, I'm really interested in though, is the time record a PUG can get while killing all the enemy champions to maximize tonics obtained while still finishing in the 5 min. mark/without your champions dying (to see if they can maximize tonics/gifts gained). It's inefficient, I'm aware, but it'd be quite interesting to see if it's possible.

Come to ToA, say LFG WW 3/5 or 4/4.
Average time is about 1:50, but it ranges from 1:30-2:10.
