Default Walkthrough for Tracking The Corruption(HM)

been at this from every angle and always get ganked. removed staves and put spears on...pwned... flaged and made sure not aggroing as they coem through the gate AND dont overlap. pwned.

nothing i seem to do even wasting cons!
help!

why do they make these OP?

does not work, and i dont have anyone to go monk etc. let alone im not going to do this on my monk.

It's not the greatest guide. You need to stand much farther back than indicated in that guide, snuggle up into the corner but keep heroes spread out. Fah Yu the Shadow's Eye can cause your heroes or the spirits they poop to grab aggro. Kill him fast or pull him back quickly. The rest is pulling the casters back far enough so you don't grab other aggro and microing Panic so it hits the casters and not the melee. That all is of course a practice in frustration since they patrol outward quite far and you'll likely pull multiple groups.

ive done that, but the melee up front always seems to overklll the spirits

see if i had buidls that were sure to pass(no mercs) that would also work on a sin primary

i could easily position my self bud.

You don't need the human Monk, use a hero E/Mo instead on the backline with the Rt & N/Rt healers. If your having trouble use a conset.

When i did this, i used double panic mesmer's and a N/mo ua necro or two. I stand just infront of the baker guy so all the mages ball up between the central object and the left wall and use spirits and ap caller to quickly take down the melle as they come. maintaining panic on the caster makes things a lot easier.

i ran





It has a ridiculous amount of defense but aslong as your on the ball ap calling everything thing's die at an acceptable pace. Used this build(or one with one UA swaped out for an illusion mes/changed panic to e-surge) throughout all of the defend xx quests in woc hm)

You can also swap the MM out for another mes if you so require

When I was doing it clear heroway it was pain and I marked this q as the worst q ever.
When a guildie asked me for help with it, I went ST prot, he took his heroes and we did for the 1st attemp pretty easily without any consumable.
We used this setup:
  1. Guildie - anything (preferably SoS)
  2. Panic mesmer
  3. Shared burden Illusion mesmer
  4. BS ele with prot/support commands
  5. Any hard AoE spiker (SoS if not taken)
  6. Healing Burst monk with mimicry
  7. UA hybrid
  8. Me - ST prot


However, the most important is place you stand. We stood between Pan and Chi. You also have to tank so they waster all their attacks and AoEs on you while your heroes spike them. We didn't bring any special tanking skills, my heroes did great job at healing/protting the tank.
