All you have to do to kneel down, is type /kneel in chat, and your char will kneel.

Default Help!!!!

Have lost the plot line at where you have to chose Margrid or Master of Whispers.
I have tried entering Dejarin Estate from Kodonur Crossroads for master of Whispers and For Margrid the Sly, enter Marga Coast from Yohlon Haven.
I have also completed the Mysterious message quest but I can't get to the next bit.

Any ideas?

I'm having a problem/glitch with getting Pogahn Passage. I completed the quest "For A Price." I then collected the reward from Margrid the Sly immediately after fighting Shifty Lem. She rewarded me. However, no "No Me, No Kormir" quest was offered afterwards. I'm not sure how or where to get it.

Bookmark this site here. It's nice to check if you get stuck. I just searched for Jokanur Diggings (the mission you just completed) and scrolled down to the bottom of the page to find the following:

I've been playing NF for more that a week already and I still can't figure out how Sunspear Ranking works. I'm now level 20 (so as Koss, the other heroes are 16-18 already) and my Sunspear rank seems no longer going up. I only have 1,400+ (Commander) points. What is the fastest way to become a General? (I'm still in the small island [not the mainland] but i am already about to board the ship going to the mainland).

Secondly, is there any link to info on how to get skills (aside from buying from Skills trainers) especially the elite. All my heroes have elites but the only skills i got are the ones from the early stage of the game and i haven't got any new one. I went to LA (Kryta) hoping that I can buy Capture but it is not available there. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Sunspear rank rises when you get Sunspear points from quests, and bounties from Sunspear Scouts. All the Sunspear Scouts by Res Shrines give bounties for killing certain monsters in an area. When you reach the rank of Commander, the Sunspear Scouts in Istan (little starter island) will not give you bounties anymore (basically you're deemed too powerful for the area). You'll need to move onto the mainland for bounties, and more quests.

Buying skills from the Skill Trainer is main way to unlock skills. It unlocks the skill on your account and also make it available for the character to use.

Prophecies had quests that give skills as rewards, this is not in Factions or NF. NF also provide Hero Skill Trainers where your Hero Skill points are used rather than gold cash.

You can also unlock skills on your account using the Priest of Balthazar for Balthazar faction points (will need some PvP for Balthazar points). Your heroes make use of skills unlocked on your account. A skill maybe unlocked on your account but not available to your character. If a skill is unlocked on your account, you can use a Tome to make it available for the character with that profession.

Elite skills can be obtained by using a Capture Signet on a dead boss of your primary/secondary profession. Or you can unlock the Elite skill with Priest of Balthazar and then make it available for yourself to use with an Elite Tome.

Signet of Capture in NF is available on the mainland. In LA, I think you get it from Magi Malaquire, but you may have to do a quest first (can't remember).

ADDED: There are some quests that introduce you to the Signet of Capture, where you get free ones.

More info (and better explanation ) can be found here: http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Skills

Hope that helps.

Thanks very much. I was saving my skill points for later use because I thought there are skill quests here just like in Prophecy. But i think I should start learning skills now. I purchased the skills unlock (whatever it is called) from online store so i guess i find what i need even in Kamadan. All my heroes seems to have all the elite skills.

Thanks so much.

More Gate of Madness difficulties. So I had hit a wall before, unable to beat Shiro. Gave up for a while and came back to it today. Got to Shiro and the Lich, and I pulled Shiro to the door. I killed him (thank you blurred vision, body blocking, and spirit spamming), though at the cost of two of my part members . Oh I was h/h, by the way.

Now here is where my difficulties begin. My two henchmen monks would try to raise my dead, but the Lich would come running as soon as I came just a few feet from the door. The last times I had played this mission (months ago) the Lich was no real threat when he's above 50% health. Also, his aggro radius was much smaller; he wouldn't come at me until I was halfway down the ramp. So he walks up to my party and hits me with a wand attack. -333 right there, one hit. My necro, who would have reduced this with weakness, was one of the two dead. He his me with another wand and I'm dead. I don't remember his basic wand attacks being so freakishly strong. In comparison, *Shiro* seemed weak.

So I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced the same problem. I've read a lot of Gate of Madness posts and mostly it seems like Shiro giving people a hard time.

I guess that the best strategy at this point would be to get all of my party down into the crater (somehow avoiding that annoying body block in the downramp; h/h are retarded), hitting shiro with blurred vision, hitting lich with weakness, killing the lich while party is at full health, then kite into the backend of the shrines to drop Shiro's aggro. Get the bonuses, and redo the same thing to Shiro in the middle.

Can anyone give me other ideas to work with? Anything is appreciated, thanks.

okay, so I finally did it. the key is to rush into the center, right next to the bosses, while they are both talking. This alleviates all problems with getting body blocked at the stairs.

Key skills:

Master of Whispers with Empathy, SS, Reckless Haste, Enfeebled Blood
Olias: Blurred Vision
Koss: Wild Blow
My Rit: Pain, Vampirism, Bloodsong, Painful Bond, Summon Spirits

Curses Necro provides damage and protection from shiro. Blurred vision is another layer of protection that is only absent for 4 seconds. Wild blow is of course necessary. My spirits added a good 60 dps with painful bond.

Positioning: Henchmen in the middle, Heroes in a triangle outside of that. Also, if you are spirit spamming as well, make sure to put them in a triangle as well. If shiro ends up next to them (and this is rare unless riposting shadows kicks in) he will attack them and quickly knock them out.

Mob the lich first and he's toast. Then it's just kiting, and handing out curses that cause miss % and damage on attack. Don't even need the shrine bonuses.

Hi

My necro is from propheicies and has completed Tyria protection title. I am interested to do the same for elona, however, I am short of 2 missions. I have completed the missions on istani island.

I have checked wiki for the nightfall missions however I still am unable to find them. My title is at 17/20 mission. I know one is the gate of desolation (wurm mission)

Is there a program that I can use to find these to missions? what do i do? Its driving me maaaddddddddd atm

Regards

Post the list of missions that you have completed, then we can tell you what the missing two are

[edit]...although I'm willing to bet that it's Rilohn Refuge or Pogahn Passage plus Dzagonur Bastion or Dasha Vestibule. Those are the two places where the mission progression "forks" and you need to go back to them after completion of the chapter (usually).

You're still on Istani?

Talk to the Sunspears in Kamadan, one of them I think has the next quest.

Noob question, but I'm level 7 and the only quest I can find is The Honorable General. I can't find any more quests to get faction points, so am I supposed to just grind points using the bounties or did I miss something?
