Problems with Shards of Orr
Hey everyone, so i recently got back into GW to try and get some HoM stuff done before release, and so far its been smooth sailing. Ive done the Human and Norn parts of Eye of the North and now i started the Asura ones.
The problem here is i need to find this Gadd guy, and whenever i go into Shards of Orr i get smacked around so damn hard it isnt even funny, i play a Warrior/Monk, i only have access to Vekk, Ogden, MOX, Jora, Gwen and Pyre, i have Dreadnought gear equipped and im using an uncommon axe.
The problem is me, MOX, Jora and Pyre get blinded so much we are practically useless, any help with builds or anything i could do to alleviate this? Ive tried about 20-25 times now and i start dying on the big packs with the priests every time.
Thanks in Advance
Malky

You can take smite monk's Kirin Fury - double holy damage for undeads. Same for Jora and MOX. Ogden as UA. You can take Roj ele as well.

MOX and Jora will be quite useless indeed, so try to replace them with caster henchmen. Pyre can still deal damage at range imo (you can give him antidote signet if needed).
If you own all the campaigns, unlock Xandra in the norn fighting tournament, give her Mend Body and Soul (on a generic SoS restoration build, for example ; watch on gwpvx.com for builds) to get rid of blind. Ogden as smiter with Smite condi/Smite hex.
Try to bodyblock mobs, bring AoE damage and watch them explode. Bring Panic (and other domination stuff) on Gwen for caster shutdown.
You can also try to run past mobs to activate the next resurrection shrine (never tried myself, but I heard it works too).

You could make Pyre an R/P spear chucker with Motivation and the following skills:
Song of Purification
Purifying Finale
Spear of Redemption
"Go for the Eyes!"
Add a couple spear attacks and whatever. Pyre should rip off most of the blind from your entire team with that. You don't need points in Command; the shout is just a trigger for the finale.
12 points in spear, 4, 5, or 12 in Motivation or whatever matches shield req if you care about +8 armor, and Expertise depending on whether you use energy spear attacks and break points
You can also add Plague Touch to your bar as W/N, bring Purifying Finale and GftE as W/P, or Sight Beyond Sight as W/Rt.

So your past it? Good
To add what I did the first time there was bring running skills, flag heroes to distract the two nasty groups in the corridor and use the run skills to get past them myself. Then there is onhly one group left, but if you go carefully you can avoid them too (again use a running skill if you get their agro). It might take 2 or 3 times but it works.
