This is gonna sound like a flame but - you really didn't understand what my post said did you?

I said to look the skills up - not try to fit them all in your skillbar.

Pick a few that works well with your other skills.

That enhances them.

And a curser works for the team - not in a 1on1 situation.
Taking away a warriors attacks and armor makes him a sitting duck for focused attacks... and gives you time to take care of the threats instead, killing off monks and casters.

The dot's and stuff rock at low level yes but you will notice that they dont scale that well to higher level. (on the other hand curses hardly scale at all - they just get longer :P )

This is actually my opponion of them aswell. My necro was blood magic from 1 to 20 and once you hit the higher lvl mobs the life siphon isn't "that" good anymore. It's still great, but it was much better until around 15. Was a blast in the ascalon area to life siphon 4 players and run around invisible. But.. a group with a monk will heal up the life siphon with one group heal. Still, think nercro is an awesome class. Think my life siphon gives me 140'ish hp over 18s, if I remember doing the math right.

See at later lvls you get Life Transefer and is worth capturing the skill. With Blood magic at full without runes. It has a 7 gain and 7 degeneration, it is a really upgrade version of the life siphion. For PvE I dont do to much of it I stick with PvP mostly, unless I have to go grind for gold, weapons, armor, and Elite Skills. Another way you could go is with order of the vampire. It will buff your full group to gain 13 health with every attack. This I have not messed with, the 5 sec timer kinda pushed me away. I felt to much energy usage may be a problem, which is with most Necro's. But if you dont have Life Transefer I suggest you go Capture it as soon as your able to its well worth the time and effort to get.

I see what you are saying but hex are dispelled with out very much work at all. The Life Siphion, I dont see it despelled much as long as dont hit a monk or mes right off the bat. Put it on pets - tanks the things that you are going to get the full reward from. Other then Life Transefer, the only other Dot's I use are the warrior bleed and deep wounds combo. The rest is pure damage, I like the fast kill and for the most part im group injoy's the fact that they can run a enemy to me and he will die, even if im already fighting somthing I can Life Transefer and get the enemy. Now, I have learned not to rush in when the battle starts as I will die almost for sure. Plus, I have learned to run out of the AoE spells as Fire Rain and the other Ele spells erupution. After they are casted they have long recharge and long cast times so I can get them out the way. It seems to be working real well with my play still
