This point is very important in quite a few strategies I can think of. Is it possible to get a good sword which is unlinked to swordsmanship?...Let me be more specific:

since I am looking for a sword to supplement my Illusionary Weaponry build, I do not need a sword that will do any amount of damage. It can do 1-2 damage for all I care, this does not matter. I would simply like a sword that has a useful effect to combo up with Illusionary Weaponry such as "x% longer enchantments" or "x% faster attack speed". Even some more obscure ones might prove useful such as "x more health while enchanted". I don't really mind, I'd quite like a sword which'll give me any sort of bonus to my build, since I-weaponeers do roughly the same damage...It'd be nice to know I have some sort of edge however tiny. But is it possible to gain such a sword with no requirement in swordsmanship?

This is all because as many of you will know I-Weaponeers tend to have 0 in swordsmanship as to be quite honest its not really required.

BTW. If anyone's selling a good unlinked sword...I'm listening

If you can't find anything soon, I'd suggest you have a new character bring a sword over from pre-searing and switch it over in your vault.

I could be wrong, but can't you use any sword no matter how low your Swordsmanship score? I think you just get a big damage penalty for it, which doesn't matter when you're using IW.

I'm very interested in this because my current main character is planned as an eventual I-Weaponeer, but she won't ever have a Swordsmanship score -- she's a Ranger.
