Default Use the CTRL key, dammit!

I don't know if it's just me, but I think that players should use the control key a lot more in battle, especially in PUGs.

For example, I, a R/N, carried Mark of Pain on my skill tree. Whenever I cast it, I always used the CTRL key to highlight the target mob and let my teammates know that it's in effect, with the hope that they'd catch on and shoot the hell out of it, spreading around lovely shadow-damage devastation.

The same goes for any skill, except perhaps shouts, that help your team in a non-obvious way. It's not only useful for calling targets, don't you agree?

EDIT: Forgot the most obvious use, Resurrection! If you're using res signet on somebody, it's only courteous to let other people know so that they don't fizzle their own rez, or waste time trying to rez somebody you're already working on.

Really depends on the group makeup and if you're using some voice communication. In general though, I call any skill that has the tendency to casted by someone else in a crazy moment of battle. As a monk thats Healing Seed, Spellbreaker and most importantly a rez sig if I'm bringing one. So do everyone a favor and call those important skills

Yeah, I call my rezzes and most hexes. I really appreciate knowing that stuff like Mark of Pain is out there, and that I don't have to fizzle my rez on somebody who's already being rezzed.

I understand and agree with what you're saying but you also have to be careful not to do it too often or with irrelevent skills as it can really spam the chat channel and cause major confusion.
