Default Dragon vs platemail armor

Well I dont know if this is the correct section but it seemed right. I did a quick search of the forums and found that all that was offered for warrior armor comparisons was Knight vs platemail. I read through a few of those and found that the general conclusion was that platemail with one piece of knights was good.

I then looked at some 15k armor pictures and saw that the female warrior dragon armor looked very very tasty. The 15k warrior platemale also looked cool. The problem that soon caught me stemmed from the fact that the female platemail and male dragon looked crappy.

So now the question. Which is better for pve, dragon, or platemail? I must know because I need to choose either female or male gah!

The 15k versions of the dragon armor looks ridiculously good. Go look in the screenshots forum.

I use the 15K dragon.. I felt dirty wasting gold on aesthetics.. but compared to the 1.5 platemail... couldn't help myself.

I'm looking forward to the gladiator changes though.

For actual usefulness, one piece of knights, rest gladiator.. and you have a choice on the chest:

Gladiator:
5 better physical
+energy

Dragon/plate:
5 better elemental

I went with dragon because spell damage is the majority of damage, but I think more people would put gladiator's above it for the chest as well.

I like the look of the 75k plate. I might by a set of 75k dragon but the helmets look so goofy.

Switch to a 15k Ascalon helm for the -2 damage mod. Plus, the Dragon helm doesn't look ANYTHING like a dragon, while teh Ascalon helm is the epitome of a dragon armor XD

They are not the same armor. Dragon armor is 85 def with 10 vs physical. Platemail is 80 def with 20 vs physical.
