mo/me mirror help
hey guys, i've been having trouble beating my mirror with my monk/mesmer. she appears with a bow and axe, and does way more damage than me...
I've tried using different conbinations of skills and even using no skills at all. Any suggestions would be appreciated

hey
heres the way i did it with the same class combo. i brought only 2 skills. healing breeze (mirror wont use) and empathy. my strategy was to cast empathy on him at the begining and every time he recast empathy and evade the arrows (takes practice, but u will get the hang of it). i used healing breeze wen i was at low hp (i was learning to evade) u dont need to bring healing breeze, but it helps if your not that great at evading arrows. hope this helps |

If that ever gets nerfed, bring along long-cast hexes/useless hexes like Empathy, or Backfire, or Spirit Shackles, and just bring Hex Breaker. Run around, let him Hex Breaker himself to death, don't cast any of the hexes on him.

Yeah, I loaded up my skill bar with Backfire and spells I was reaonably certain he would try casting that wouldn't hurt me as long as I didn't cast (like Empathy). I cast Backfire right off the bat and sadly that was all I had time for on the first pass before he pulled his bow. Strafed while he fired, and whenever he put his bow away, recast Backfire as needed.
I was messing around and hadn't thought it would work so well and accidentally Ascended with 63 seconds on the counter. |
