Heres something for all the tactically minded people out there. Although alot of it has nothing to do with the game mechanics and would not at all work it still has some exellent tacticts and how to treat the actions of the enemy.

It also makes for some good reading if you have interests in that sort of thing.

And jus to equal things out

You can't really expect people to spend a decent amount of time to read it and understand it (but if you do, it is really useful). Some of the people complaining about how things did not work, they are just absence minded or pumped up with adrenaline.
I read all of them when I was a few years younger (around the age of 14 or 15) plus other famous strategy guides (warfare related), they do nicely against some people in PvP, especially with tricks and traps. It is not much, just observe what other people do and figure out their patterns, summed up most things from the website.

I read through it once. Very interesting. Helped a lot when I was into Rise of Nations.

the book is great, lots of common sense stuff once you hear it, but I would llove to re-write it base on gaming. The Art of Pwn! w00t! hmmmmm, actually i may do it.

The only part i think works is the deception part.

For it to be really sucessful in practical use your guild MUST have a solid leader who understands combat but mainly have the warriors FOLLOW HIS COMMAND, if your guild does not follow orders or stay with a plan set b4 hand you WILL lose.

Plus the lag situation will never give a true showing of what the battle will be like, someone will always be better connected than others.

I know that in Halo CTF if I have no voice communication with my team then I play solo and go my own way. I avoid the other team and never fire at them so as not to alert them to me. I avoid at all costs and capture quite often.

You cant try and starve out your opponents but i think you can be patient and allow them to get impatient and then rush in to make the mistake.

I do NOT consider "camping" a bad play. spawn camping yes, but holding a sweet spot....no. ANY military wants to hold a key position. I really need to research and write out the gamin version, the applications of use from FPS and RPG will be vastly diffrent.
