if you decide to go this direction, i suggest protection. now, the problem i see with this is energy. these wards arent cheep combined w/prot spells. for this, i suggest peace and harmony (elite). this is your best way to keep your evergy up with this build. i dont kno if thats gunna be enuff tho, and i havent tested this particular build. but i think im gunna test it out in some tombs, ill give you my results wen i get them.

i run a protection monk with divine boon and peace and harmony to regain the energy pip.

if i were a MO/E i would go for divine/protection/earth.

cheap protection spells that doubles as a healing spell when cast with divine boon rocks - reversal & guardian both have nearly identical recharge/casting speed/energy cost with orison + their added benefits.

Using only aegis/wards when under fire...

enchantment removals are always the big pain in the ass. You might want to look at spell breaker for short immunity.

or you can completely forget about divine boon and focus on wide range protection - alternate aegis+wards...

...

I dont know why alot of monks doesn't use Pacifism, but that's a great protection spell against a warrior that's bashing on you. Someone being out of combat for 16 seconds equals 3v4 for a good long time. I carry Pacifism as a protection healer.
