Yup those would be the ones and if you're partying with a group take Phoenix & Fireball so that when the tanks have a mob grouped you can do splash damage. The best part is once the mob is focused on the tanks and you've cast MoR, MS or FS is to run closer in and cast Phoenix, hitting for high dmg upon cast AND upon explosion!!!

BURN BURN BURN, I MUST BURN THINGS ....eheheh

Can you be more specific regarding what you want to kill?? If its PvP then your best bet is the FOTM air elementalists. If PvE, then go fire.

If you wish to be "creative", go with smiting monk.

Yea i was thinking of for PVP, What does FOTM mean? what sort of skills should i take with air? Would a smiting monk be with a monk secondary or primary?

Air Elementalist is unarguably your best bet. Check out Ensign's basics.

i think its flavour of the month :S

Heres something ive been toying with. Large damage to multiple targets:

Elementalist/Monk

Air: 10+3
Earth: 9+1
Water: 6+1
Energy Storage: 10+1

Thunderclap [e]
Ice Spikes
Lightening Touch
Aftershock
Crystal Wave
Chain Lightening
Essence Bond
Ressurect

This is more of a muck about rather than a serious build, but if you pull it off you total 385 damage to up to three targets, with an additional 120 to other foes in the 'nearby' area.

Firstly, thunderclap on the main target (a warrior in a melee for example). Follow this with ice spikes, which provides the water hex for lightening touch, and it also slows their movement, buffing your nuke. Cast lightening touch, which will do about 70 damage, and trigger thunderclap. Now their knocked down, cast aftershock, followed by Crystal Wave. Finally tag chain lightening on the end for the hell of it. Ressurect is thrown in cause i cant be bothered to think of anything more original, and essence bond provides energy. Cast it on focused targets, and your energy should regen fast enough to match the 20 second cooldown of the combo.

No doubt about it Air is the best for PvP and later-end PvE for spike damage.

You can't exactly chain the aftershock and crystal wave because of the .75 sec "delay of nothing you can do" right after you cast a spell... that means your total casting animation time is .75+ no matter what... not even fast casting helps... >_<
